The cleaning products used here have an extremely strong smell and the rooms would be unsafe for anyone with scent or chemical sensitivities. The staff did their best to help by switching us into a room that hadn’t been cleaned that day, but even there, with the balcony door wide open and keeping a mask on, the smell was still enough to cause dizziness after a couple hours. The rooftop pool is great and the staff were lovely, but ultimately after a few hours we had to find another hotel to stay at.

Nice hotel, great location
Bilingual staff. Neat hotel but the building is a little older. However, excellent location adjacent to Brescia university and hospital. Ten minute walk from the entertainment hub with restaurants, bars, gelato and more. Very helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

Good food nice hotel
Great location, booked 2 rooms but only 1 had a balcony. Air conditioning wasn’t too great especially as it was 37 degrees outside. Room was comfortable. Reception was ok but had great service in the breakfast room, very pleasant waitress! All in all a good stay would go back to explore the area a bit more. Swimming pool was nice had the pool to ourselves at stages. Nice restaurant where the couple who run never seem to stop working.

2 star at the most. nothing regal about this place
absolutely awful. we were in Brescia for mille miglia and it was the only place we could find. the hotel was more like a motel. next to a roundabout. the room was very tired and in need of decoration and smelled so badly of old cigarette smoke that i couldn't sleep. i told the receptionist and he said he'd ask the cleaners to clean thoroughly. the pool was nothing like the photo. i couldn't face trying it. good points. close to the metro and the indian food in tve resto downstairs was good.

nice clean hotel in a quite district to stay. free wifi and good breakfast. i only faced two problems (1) wifi connectivity in the room was very weak. they just have one router on each floor so not all rooms have equal reception. (2) there were a lot of flies in the breakfast room. i really dont know why and how they got there but seems to be a common problem as no one was really bothered about it.

Disappointing stay.
Unfortunately the Regal Hotel failed to meet expectations; furnishings in the room were tired, the walls in need of attention, and the cleanliness (particularly the floor) below normal standards. We opted to pay the extra charge for breakfast but again were not impressed; the only edible fresh fruit consisted of kiwis, crockery was dirty, and the cooked option looked less than appetising. I am unable to recommend the Regal Hotel.

Great Value For Money
We checked in in the late afternoon and were welcomed by a very helpful young man at reception. This hotel is inexpensive and great value for money. Plenty of off street parking and friendly, multilingual staff on duty at reception most of the time. It's directly opposite the hospital and quite a long way away from the city centre but there's a metro station virtually over the road and that will get you to the centre in 5 minutes. A much better option than driving because parking in the city is at a premium and the signage (as in all Italian cities) is incredibly difficult to decipher (and we speak the language!). The hotel has a rooftop pool which in the northern Italian summer can be a godsend in Brescia where it can get hot and sticky. The room was air conditioned. Breakfast included bacon and eggs or the more traditional Italian style of croissants and the like - cereals etc. The building is a bit tired in some areas (as are so many Italian hotels - more as a result of the age of the buildings than lack of care or maintenance) but it is clean with warm friendly staff and all at a reasonable price. If you want 5 stars - you'll need to pay for it. If you're on a budget, you won't do much better for the price.

This is the 4th time we have stayed at the hotel ,whilst the hotel in not in the centre of town it's an ideal base ,we used the Metro which is located 5 minutes from hotel to get into town only 2 stops to get into town which saved on parking and also meant I could have a beer in the evening . Hotel staff very helpful , pool was jst great to use in the hot weather .

This is a good hotel. The pool on the roof is really nice. The only drawback is there is no tea/coffee in the room, but I take a travel kettle now. There doesn't appear to be a grocery shop anywhere near but there are restaurants nearby and the metro service is good.

This hotel had everything it promised -free parking, free wi-fi, and free breakfast. The staff was most accommodating as my husband wanted to see a soccer game which was not available on their TV, so they arranged for us to watch the game in their sister hotel. The drawback was the location - it is opposite the hospital and so necessary to take a subway into the city. This was not difficult, the subway is a short walk and only three stops away and easy to use. But there is nothing around the hotel so don't go back until you are ready to stay in for the night.

Clean Large Rooms Friendly
I've stayed all over Italy and for the price, value, cleanliness, size of the rooms, and friendliness it can't be beat. Restaurant attached has very decent food at a great price and breakfast was good too. They even are dog friendly!! If I ever need a hotel again in Brescia I'll definitely be rebooking this one.

Really nice surprise
Had to book something for overnight at last minute. Was very pleasantly surprised by room and cleanliness etc.Staff helpful only problem was distance from the station. I later found there was a metro stop only 200 metres away, however I am glad not to have taken it in the small hours as Brescia station itself can be a little intimidating. Was excellent value for the money.

Decent Choice in Brescia
Decent hotel but a little far out from Brescia city centre. Lovely pool on the roof top terrace with nice views all around. The room was very big although a little sparsely furnished. Breakfast was average at best but it was a surprise it was included at this price. Staff were very friendly and willing to give advice.

Once inside, a great find.
This hotel is undergoing extensive modernization, but the finished rooms are superb. From the outside we questioned staying, but once inside the hotel is exceptional. Very friendly staff. The hotel was very clean and felt good. There was a good restaurant below open late. Breakfast was very acceptable.

Well kept budget hotel
This hotel is recently refurbished and well kept. The rooms are big and clean and we had a large balcony. The reception is modern and stylish and staff very friendly. The pool was brilliant and conveniently the hotel has a restaurant and bar underneath. The actual location isn't very good as it's in the hospital area of Brescia which is a good 5 minute drive away from the beauty of the city centre. If you have transport it's excellent value, if you are looking to be on foot to the various museums and beautiful city centre which is worth a visit, I would recommend staying closer to the centre.

Great Hotel for a stop during road trip
The hotel was very nicely decorated and the room was very spacious. We arrived with car and stayed for two nights on our road trip through Italy. There was free parking and free wi-fi in the room. In the summer there's a pool. The room also had a small kitchen with fridge, cutlery and balcony. The bathroom was spacious. The bed was very comfy and there were extra pillows available. Breakfast was included and it was tasty and had good variety. This is a great place to stay if you need a nice place to settle while exploring the area by car. There is not much interesting to see close to the hotel, so by foot it's propably not ideal. Gardaland is a 40 min drive away!

Was OK for a short break but website needs updated
My husband, 2 kids and I stayed here for 4 nights (Oct 09) as we were attending a sporting event nearby. The pictures on the hotel website made it look gorgeous - it needs to be updated! I'm sure the rooms were gorgeous when first decorated (which I don't think was too long ago) but the carpet in ours was badly stained, and even greasy - there is a small kitchen type facility built into some cupboards, and there was obviously grease splashed over the carpet around this area. The swimming pool is much more basic than the website shows and there was building work going on on the top floor which we were not told about. Drilling began around 9am. This is also the area where the pool is and my kids were disappointed that the pool wasn't fit for use - very dusty due to the work going on. As for the staff - one guy at reception was fantastic. He couldn't have been more helpful, however the other 2 we met needed to wake up! We asked for a wake up call one morning as we had to be at the event early. It didn't happen - luckily I woke 5 minutes after the call was supposed to come. Then I was naturally wary as to whether the one for the morning of our flight home would happen so I was awake most of that night. I don't mean to sound like a fuss pot but I know I like to read honest reviews when researching a hotel to stay in. I would stay here again if there was nowhere nicer nearby. It was OK.
