"Cet hôtel charme d'emblée par son architecture et son design intérieur particulièrement réussis. Toutefois, le plaisir du séjour est en partie atténué par quelques faiblesses au niveau de l'entretien (ex.: problème de climatisation, lampe non fonctionnel, robinetterie qui mériterait d'être resserrée, présence d'algues dans la piscine, etc.). L'établissement possède un cachet indéniable, mais un suivi plus rigoureux de la maintenance lui permettrait de retrouver tout son standing."

"The vibe was so calm and relaxing. The breakfasts had a huge variety of food, and were tasty. The beds were less firm than usual Portuguese standards, but quite firm by UK standards. The pool was a delightful respite from daily life and as it was quiet, we often had the whole space to ourselves. The staff were lovely. The local town was a bit quiet, and developing in tourism. But the hotel offered free bikes to go and explore. A lovely place to stay for deep relaxation over a long weekend, and...

"Room was nice though a little small. Also had a terrace with 2 loungers. Bathroom floor was heated. Access to free bikes to ride up the coast was great. Easy access to a great secluded beach that you roped down to was unique. Nice pool. Really cool vegetable garden where you could eat tomatoes off the vine and pick a watermelon to eat. Also could get leaves from vegetable garden to go feed the goats and Violet (the donkey). Goats always happy to see us. Violet sometimes was in a mood but...
