Framtid Hostel

Framtid Hostel

8/10 Good
"The room is clean however the pillows are old and clumpy. There’s only 1 kitchen for 8 rooms. This one kitchen although clean has no pots, only pans. There’s only one sink. The guest has to wait to share the kitchen and sink. There only one shower room to be shared by 4 rooms. And the shower room was slippery."

"The staff were incredibly welcoming. Dinner in the restaurant was very good. The view of the harbor was very special, waking up to the fog and watching it burn off. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Highly recommend"

"We stayed for 3 nights. The room was clean when we arrived, but we needed to ask them during our visit to empty the tiny garbage can as they didn't clean the room during our stay. It's an older building but we'll maintained. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We were in a 2nd floor room,so that meant climbing down 1 flight, through a hallway, then up 2 flights. They don't have an elevator. Breakfast was able to be purchased in the morning, but we didn't eat there."

"Al mattino si è interrotta l'elettricità e nulla funzionava più in cucina, abbiamo scritto mail allo staff ma nessuna risposta ((forse però avremmo dovuto scrivere su WA). Sarebbe utile mettere in cucina le istruzioni per come ripristinare l'elettricità in questi casi. Per il resto ottima esperienza!"

10/10 Excellent
"Location is a bit off the beaten path but if your doing the Ring Road, it might make sense. Chalet was cute with a tiny bathroom and kitchenette area was minimal but functional. The bed/bedding was super comfortable and the internet was sufficient so I could get some basic work done. Front desk guy (sorry we didn’t get his name) was eager to help with minor issues/concerns we had, which was much appreciated! He also informed us that the hot water for shower only lasts 7 minutes and takes about and hour to recharge itself, so a little planning may need to be involved if you have multiple people wanting to use the shower. All in all, a great stay!!"

"Room was clean & spacious, amenities were good, excellent heat/hot water, parking was right out front of the unit. Nice quiet town. The "Cafe Cozy" 1/2 a block over was a great lil spot for food and drink, the owner was a really nice guy. Yes the room was basic but perfect for our needs and met expectations."

"It was a beautiful location, friendly staff and great food / accommodations. Only thing slightly negative was the quality of the road leading into the cottage area. Big section with tons of bad potholes that need to be filled in. Otherwise the place was amazing and definitely recommended staying here"
