"We spent a lovely night at the B and B.
Everything was perfect and they even left a G and T and beer in the fridge for us to enjoy and fresh milk in a jug.
The beds were extremely comfortable and the water piping hot.
The breakfast in the morning was lovely and our hosts could not have been more welcoming
We will return again"

"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "

"We stayed a night after spending the day at Oldfield Forge. The property was lovely and well kept with a very big room. The owner was super helpful and the breakfast the next day was great. We really recommend this property for anyone staying in the area."

"Such a fantastic location for accessing the beautiful Brecon Beacons. We had a three night stay in an “Executive Suite”. This has plenty of room, a stand-alone shower (though no bath in our particular room) and we didn’t notice any insects. Everything worked (well except the 2nd TV in the living area but we didn’t mind so didn’t report it) even sauna and steam room at the weekend which at other hotels has been an issue. Every member of staff we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Yes, a little TLC needed for things like missing tiles in steam room but for the price we paid we were very satisfied. Will return."
"I stayed in the Hayloft. My hosts could not have been more charming. The Hayloft was beautifully furnished and much care had gone into it. The one thing that I think let it down was the quality of the beds - 4 singles - the mattress lacked support and you could actually feel the springs in it. I think a mattress upgrade would match the high quality bedding that is provided. The only other thing was that the fridge was switched off and open when I arrived. Maybe this is the way it is done in Britain, but I did miss having somewhere cold to put drinks / supplies, arriving on a hot summer evening. Food for thought. That said, this is high quality accommodation."
"A beautiful property in a wonderful setting. A bit more attention to detail on cleanliness needed in the bedroom and bathroom. Food not up to the standard of the prices charged. Breakfast below par"
"Lovely 2 night stay! Stayed in privilege room very nice and clean. Restaurant and bar very nice and relaxed ! Food was very good standard and staff were polite and friendly"
