Excellent accommodations at the Bell Mare Hotel. Beds and shower were awesome, Keurig coffee maker in room with Starbucks K-cups (yippee!), plus room was super quiet - we didn’t even hear a thunderstorm that struck during the night. I highly recommend this hotel.
We stayed in room 7, The Drover. It was nice and spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable with nice linens. The room stayed nice and cold in the Texas heat. The bathroom was very clean. The only downside is that the walls are very thin. We could hear our neighbor in the next room. Luckily, we travel with a fan for the white noise and it drowned out any excess noise. We will definitely stay again.
Very clean, good bed and nice sitting area in the adjoining room Bath towels very thick snd soft. (Towels were replaced each day). I would stay there again!

Our stay was just perfect. The room was excellent, clean and nicely renovated. Directions were easy to follow and rooms were spacious. It was a perfect getaway from our crazy busy lives.
The hotel was perfect for our weekend! The cozy Antler Room (#9) provided the ideal space to relax and get ready for our wedding. We hope to visit again and enjoy the outdoor sitting area!
We stayed here last night, and overall it was an exceptional experience. The bathtub was probably the best I've ever used in my entire life—and I'm almost 50 years old! The bathroom was beautiful, the lighting was excellent, and the furniture made the room feel comfortable and upscale. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and everything throughout the room was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully put together.
The only downside was around midnight when the walls seemed a bit thin, and we could hear some loud guests nearby. Thankfully, that was the only issue.
Other than the noise, everything exceeded our expectations. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-appointed hotel
The hotel room was clean and well appointed. The biggest problem with the hotel is access to the room. We couldn’t park close to unload and there was no easy way to walk to the room. There was no sidewalk and we had to either walk through wet grass or through the graveled “patios” of all the other rooms.
This was a very clean room. The sheets, pillows and towels were very clean. The room and bathroom were so nice, that it would be easy to be super picky about some things, like other reviews say. There isn't a closet, like a place to hang your clothes, except a small place in the bathroom. But we had all the hot water we wanted. The a/c worked good. It was over 100 degrees outside but our room could stay at 70 and at night it could go a lot cooler. The maintenance of the property and room was excellent. Nothing was broken. Everything was very clean. Daily housekeeping was good. For being in Breckenridge, TX, this is the place to stay!
