The staff were more than amazing. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had complementary at a hotel. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see.

For a boutique hotel this needs to spend some time working on the details. Our deluxe room hadn't been dusted for a long time in certain places. Also the shower head was so low it was chest height and didn't stay where it should. That being said it was very quiet, comfortable and staff were nice.

Good location, bed was rock solid. Could not control the temperatite in the room, was cooking hot. No windows to open to get any fresh air. Staff would only order a cab from chosen company. Took longer than normal.

Charming Hotel in Perfect Location
I loved this place. Check in was very friendly. We arrived early and didn't expect to be able to check in at that time but they made efforts to get us in our room as soon as possible. Very cute library bar where they offer a welcome drink. Coffee in lobby and very nice breakfast. The location was absolutely perfect, just steps from the center of of the old town. Would definitely return!

Definitely Value for Money
Such a nice hotel with big spacious rooms and very friendly staff. Great location right near the centre of the Old Town meant everything was within walking distance.

Fantastic boutique hotel. They have a gorgeous spa. With saunas and jacuzzi. We paid 50 euro and had it to ourselves for 1.5 hours. We will return!

There is nothing to fault at the Arcadia. A fabulous hotel in the old town of Bratislava. The hotel itself was beautiful, as well as pristine. The staff could not have done more for us and were incredibly welcoming not only when we arrived, but each evening too. We will certainly return, and have recommended to friends and family already.

It was steps from the Christmas market in the old town square. It was probably one of the nicest small hotels I’ve stayed in. The breakfast was very lovely.

The property was in a great location and just around the corner from one of the Christmas markets. The buffet breakfast had a lot of options and was very good. The staff was super nice and luggage storage was easy after we checked out. The reason for the low rating was for the night of sleep we got. It was probably 80 F degrees and very stuffy in the room. We had the temp set down to 15 C and you could feel some cool air coming out of the vents but the room never cooled down. The only window in the room opened up to the lobby/hallway and didn’t close securely so that could possibly be why it never was able to cool. Otherwise the stay was great!

Beautiful old building, large comfy rooms, decorated in a style in keeping with the age of the building but also modern and very convenient to use. Bar and mini-bar prices were reasonable, decent breakfast included. Would have liked the bat to be open for more than the five-hour stretch from 3-8pm, but less than 100 yards away was an excellent Grand Cru Wine Gallery. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

One night totally ruined!!
Stayed in the 'triple room', which was very nice. However, the stay was totally ruined by the stupid electricity/lighting wiring, and awful staff service. I was woken up by my friend in the downstairs area of the room at 04:30, because the lights were not working (no light in the bathroom), but there was electricity because the TV and fridge were working. The staff said they would get an engineer to us at 8am... No good as we were leaving at 07:30. But what was totally unacceptable was the fact that we didn't need an engineer, as it was explained to us at the reception when checking out, that the upstairs bed has a 'master light switch' that kills every light in the room. So no need for an engineer, just for the staff to tell us that either at check in, or when we found the problem. This is a really stupid set up, and very badly managed situation. Made worse by the total lack of empathy, understanding or apologies at the reception in the morning. It is a shame, as it really ruined what on first impressions, was a wonderful hotel.

If you switch the mail light off, it will switch off all the lights. In order to use the lights again it is necessary to switch the main light on. To avoid such misunderstandings the information is also available in more detail in the Guest directory which you can find in each room. A gem in the old Bratislava with awesome breakfast
It was a short stay but we fully indulged our stay in Arcadia. It is a charming boutique hotel, tastefully decorated in an old style. It was just perfect for exploring and enjoying old Bratislava. Hotel staff was very friendly; willingly extended our check-out time for an hour. Breakfast was also a nice touch - beautiful dining room and awesome menu. In addition to the usual hot and cold breakfast choices they served traditional Slovak potato pancakes called 'zemiakove placky' or 'Harula'. We recommend this gem and look forward to coming back in the near future.

Beautifully restored property. Great staff. Our problem was that we had a very small room with no access to outside air and air conditioning that was not functioning properly. Very stuffy. They changed the room the next day. Larger, somewhat better AC, but still no outside air to mitigate the poor AC. These are the Standard rooms. Spend more to get a better larger room with an air flow.

The hotel is conveniently located, at the city central. The breakfast is excellent with fine foods. The facilities are tops... an old building remodeled, with a lot of character. My wife and I recommend it enthusiastically.

Nice hotel in great location Near historic Center of town. Rooms a bit old fashioned but clean and spacious. Breakfast very nice and tasty. Bath products in the rooms like Bath gel and shampoo could definitely use An upgrade, and notice the rooms are not air conditioned, and were very hot and stuffy during our stay, although they did supply fans when requested.

Really good location, breakfast very good. Only negative was we were led to believe on booking that we would have access to swimming pool/ spa. However, this was an extra €49 which I wish we’d have known before booking.

We stayed in Bratislava at the Arcadia Boutique Hotel for just one night and it was an excellent experience. The hotel is full of character, the room was nice, the breakfast was excellent and the location - right in the centre of the old town was perfect. Fully recommended. The only minor complaint I have is the 30 euro/night parking at the nearby parking garage - this is not the hotel's fault of course and it seems to be the going rate for Bratislava but if there was anyway the hotel could offer subsidised parking that would be the icing on the cake!

Really lovely property so close to the center of the old town. Very easily walkable to the castle and all of old town. I was able to walk from the central bus station in about 20 minutes. Staff was very friendly and the accommodations were very spacious. My only issue was that I asked the reception staff to reserve a taxi for an early flight. I think they forgot to do it and as a result the taxi did not show up on time. Luckily the gentleman working the night shift was able to call and get a taxi to the hotel about 20mins late. Luckily, I made it to the airport and my flight without issue.

This is a beautiful and historical hotel located just on the edge of the old city. tt is easily accessible to everywhere. The rooms are lovely,large and well equipped. There is a great buffet breakfast included. The staff are warm friendly and helpful. A perfect stay.

Amazing
Amazing hotel, perfectly located in the old town city center, at the edge of the pedestrian zone but with a convenient access by a cab. Good breakfast, wonderful staff.

Nice Hotel in Bratislava.
The location right by Michael's Gate was perfect. Parking right across the street by the church was great. The hotel was beautiful, and the staff were very friendly. Our only complaint was that the air conditioning was not working. They brought us a fan which really helped, however. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel to anyone going to Bratislava.
