Title: Wonderful stay with a beautiful view I had a very pleasant stay at Aro Palace Hotel in Brașov. Everything was excellent: the cleanliness, the comfortable atmosphere, and the breakfast with a good variety of choices. The highlight for me was the beautiful view towards Tâmpa Mountain — it made the stay special. I would only have preferred a room on a higher floor to enjoy the view even more. Overall, a great experience and I would gladly return.

Apparently, this hotel will soon be renovated and rebranded as a Hyatt Regency. Please wait until that has occurred before staying there. Good: location is excellent, rooms are spacious, pool is quite wonderful. Bad: beds and pillows extremely uncomfortable (had to use bathrobe to prop up the pillow), staff say they don’t have any extra pillows or other ways of mitigating discomfort, housekeeping comes only by request and is quite limited. I know they’re trying to do what they can with a property in need of fixing, but it very difficult to stay in a hotel that is so uncomfortable that you cannot sleep.

It was a lovely stay. We were able to check in a little early which was great. The room was large, clean, and had a.lovley view. We used the pool and saunas most days and they were great. The location is brilliant, right by the old town and also a short walk to local buses. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a good selection of items and set us up well for the day.

The room was clean and very comfortable, although the furniture and furnishings are somewhat dated. I had a junior suite which had a fantastic view over a quiet square and towards mount Tampa. The room was spacious with fridge and nespresso machine and complimentary toiletries/toothbrush. The swimming pool was a definite highlight. The breakfast was amazing with everything you could wish for. All the local sights are within walking distance and livada postei with buses to the airport is only a minutes walk. I needed an emergency dentist whilst staying and the receptionist was really helpful finding a clinic and making the appointment for me. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

The rooms are spacious, clean, very nice. Hotel is beautifully reconstructed, bringing the old and the new in a great sync. Spa has a big, warm pool with a glass rooftop and two saunas, Finnish and a hammam. Breakfast was amazing, offering everything a person could dream about. Overall a 10/10 stay.

The hotel was a very poor quality when you entered the lobby it seemed nice at first but when we got our room, there was a smell inside that smell almost like mothballs. The actual hallway on the fifth floor, where our room was smelled of incense as though they’re trying to have a lot of sense added in order to mask the actual smell of the hotel . The room itself was decent, but the shower had black mold, in the creases where the joints were in the rubber parts , also the shower didn’t stay up and there was no way you can make it stay as you were trying to wash your hair. It kept coming down on your head. It was old and needed repair . For a hotel that’s supposed to be rated this high that was pretty disgusting . We actually added an extra night because we had no choice. We didn’t want to move our suitcases and unpack again and we were only staying two nights so we decided to just stay because we had no choice. We were too exhausted to move anywhere else as we were traveling quite a bit throughout Europe. The location of the hotel was pretty good and the view from our room was beautiful, but that’s about all I would say as far as positive. I would definitely not recommend this hotel or would ever stay there myself again..
