We had to leave the hotel early next morning before kitchen opened but staff left us breakfast (cereals, yogurt etc) out for us which was really appreciated. Also made us sandwiches to take with us. Pub/bar and food was really good. Cosy. 」

「Spacious clean room. Liked the fact that the breakfast choices went beyond a Yorkshire breakfast. English muffin with cream cheese and smoked salmon, baked egg… Didn’t eat dinner as we felt the menu was a little underwhelming. Staff were friendly.」

「The hosts/owners were the most welcoming and friendly couple. The property was immaculate and the quality of the rooms were 10/10. Breakfast was cooked to our requested time and menu. Which was delicious. If we’re ever in the area again we would definitely stay. 」

「A five star property and staff — some of the best food we’ve ever had traveling, and here it is in the Yorkshire Dales! Friendly, helpful staff to a person, every shift, every position. The historic manor house buildings are beautiful, tastefully updated to allow a glass-walled dining wing that looks out over the rolling green hills. It’s a stunning setting. The bedroom is the only shortcoming. Peer facilities might offer visitors pillows of various stiffness to accommodate different sleepers’...

「Fantastic place ! We stayed in the Parisian room and it was absolutely stunning. Loved the little touches, electric blinds , TV in the bathroom,espresso machine etc .. also right in the middle of KL , all different type of restaurants. Breakfast at the Royal was very nice too ! We will certainly come back and will try a different room next time !」
