Fantastic hotel, staff were so friendly and helpful. All the communal areas (bar/restaurant/reception/gardens) were very high standard. Rooms (we had small double) were exactly that, well appointed and small. The goose down pillows were extremely comfortable as was the bed. 4 x 22kwh electric chargers in the car park at a reasonable 59p/Kw Short walk to the town centre and the beach.

I have asked for a refund and the property has registered the case and said yes. The follow needs to happen via Expedia. I have raised a case with the chat agent today
Wet bed and the hotel didn’t have a spare room or a spare bedding. The pillows were soaking dry and they cud only get us one clean pillow. The hotel is a nightmare

Very warm welcome

Very warm and friendly check in and check out. Room was clean and spacious, bed was lovely and comfortable. Little bits of paint missing on windowsill if I'm nit picking apart from that a very nice place to stay. Would recommend as also very close to the beach.

Great 2 night Stay

Lovely hotel, great staff and perfect location. Arrived after finding the hotel fairly easily. Ample parking around the hotel grounds. Although slightly disappointed in the added parking fee. Check in was really good with attentive staff who showed us to our room. Nice bar and restaurant area looked great. Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was nice sized. Overall a really good value stay.

Great location for town centre, yet secluded off the beaten track. Attentive staff, great selection of craft ale on tap. Rooms clean and well equipped. Would defintely stay here again!

Lovely small hotel. Walking distance from the town but quite hilly on way back. Taxi was £6 so not bad if you don’t fancy a walk back. Breakfast had a good selection including choice of cooked breakfast. A bit noisy due to party and guests drinking outside but reception did move our room and was very quiet after 11pm. Bed / pillows a bit soft side but that depends on preference but was clean and comfortable. Hotel was very clean and well maintained. Parking is available but at the cost of £10 a night which wasn’t mentioned at time of booking.

I gave comfort a 4 simply because I don't find soft pillows help me sleep - but when we stayed here before the housekeeper gave us firmer pillows when we asked. Overall a lovely stay and delicious breakfast.

Excellent hotel, friendly and attentive staff.

Stunning room (silver birch); the welcome was warm on arrival, I ate in the on site restaurant (Arbor) and the food quality and portion size was excellent. I will definitely stay here again.
