Our room was clean and comfortable. Even though the Hotel was a bit dated, it was clearly an elegant property in its day. However, there was no central heating working in the room; no working television; no bar access during the stay; and £15 for overnight parking would be unacceptable for many.

Bar is nicely laid out and decorated with good range of spirits. Reception and bar staff friendly and helpful. No breakfast on weekdays due to kitchen refurb. Think that applies to lunches and dinner on all days. Noise from music in nightclub in basement does come through into ground floor although we were warned of this before hand and reception gave us bedrooms on 3rd floor to avoid disturbance.

Room is usually clean but in the hotel s.ells old, old build8ng and old furniture. Staff was ok, standarf but the girl gave me a single bed wich is strange they have a bed and not a double bed in a big room, a siglw bed nobody use this days. No bich view from the room. First time i went there they offered a double bed, room was higher floor, and could see the sea. Coffee in the room . In eirope many new hotels this is old style like i went 200 years in time.

The hotel was rat old fashioned in that was still much of the original wooden staircase etc but it was clean and the bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean and well lit. The only downside of our one night stay was the fact that altogether it generated 23 emails either from Expedia itself or from the hotel which was tiresome.

It would have received a higher rating if it served breakfast which is unheard of. I was only informed few days in advance which was very inconveient as I had to venture out into pouring rain to buy breakfast

My wife would stay again. I am undecided, and may look to try another hotel more modernise. Hotel okay but the need to use some airfreshners in the corridors to rooms as smells of old musty carpets and curtains. Also, though twice said no coffee or tea replacement in bedroom, reception claimed they had none and had to wait for cleaners to return in the morning and we left at 1030 in the morning none arrived I only gave 3 stars as my wife wanted to be kind, i would have given 2. Though if other hotels not available to try out at similar prices i may stay again.

Comfortable bed, clean room al though could do with some updating. No plug sockets beside the bed. Staff friendly and helpful. Although could hear music from bar down stairs did disturb our sleep. Would benefit from a shower screen instead of a curtain. Good beach view from our room

The receptionist staff member called Bee was very helpful. She helped me sign in on my phone and with the wireless Internet. I had a problem with the shower, she looked at it and straight away organised another room for me. A very professional member of staff. Couldn't fault her .
