Good value

Check in fast and friendly. Plenty of car parking but hotel was not full. Room was ok for the price. Bed comfortable. Noise from other rooms was quite loud so no lay in. Breakfast is at a pub across the road which we liked as there is a 8 till 12 period. Would stay again if the price is right.

Never again! Nie wieder!

Das Hotel ist heruntergekommen, vernachlässigt und schmutzig. Der Eigentümer ist nur durch telefonische Absprache zum check-in da. Die angegebene Telefonnummer war falsch. Ansonsten ist niemand an der Rezeption, und man findet keine Ansprechpartner. Das Frühstück findet in einer naheliegenden Kneipe statt. Nicht meine Vorstellung von Frühstücksatmosphäre. Das Zimmer war sehr klein, und der Anstrich im Zimmer und im Badezimmer heruntergekommen. Anders als angegeben ist nicht jeden Tag geputzt worden. Beide Zimmer wirkten schmuddelig. Zunächst gab es kein Handtuch und auch keine Badematte. Als ich dann ein Badetuch und ein neu gebrachtes Handtuch benutzen wollte, stellte ich mit Grauen fest, dass beide gebraucht waren und make-up und Kotflecken enthielten. Der Eigentümer meinte, als ich ihn darauf ansprach, die Handtücher seien gewaschen, es handele sich um Flecken, die die Putzfrau wegen Augenproblemen nicht sehen könne. Ich war echt sprachlos und kann den Ekel bis heute nicht überwinden. Ich fühlte mich komplett verarscht und beabsichtige Regressforderungen zu stellen. Ich musste hinter Toilettenpapier hinterherrennen. Auf meine telefonische Anfrage, ob ein Fön vorhanden sei, antwortete der Eigentümer mit ja. Es war aber kein Fön im Zimmer, und der Fön, den mir der Eigentümer Tage später brachte, wurde so heiß, dass er nach 2 Minuten anfing zu qualmen und den Geist aufgab. Kurz und gut eine Absteige, um die man in jedem Fall einen Bogen machen sollte.
