"Pros: The hotel has a great location near a U-station. It also offers free laundry. Cons: Our bedding smelled very bad, and it did not improve after requesting a room cleaning. Also, the room was very hot and stuffy. The air conditioning did not work correctly despite following the instructions to the letter. We kept the windows open full time. The WiFi worked about 30% of the time. It was in and out."

"I especially want to highlight the care and dedication of the staff—one night after walking all over Berlin during a heatwave my daughter managed to lock herself out of our room and we were so exhausted we didn’t hear her knocking. That said, I expected a more refined experience from a five-star hotel. While the property is comfortable and well maintained, the overall atmosphere and level of service did not consistently meet the standards I associate with a luxury hotel. The service was polite, but it lacked the attention to detail and personalized care that truly distinguish a five-star experience. Overall, it's a solid choice if location is your top priority, but if you're looking for exceptional luxury and outstanding service, there are other hotels in Berlin that offer a more memorable five-star experience."
