Every single staff member is either passionate about what they do or just know how to give excellent customer service. I didn’t have any negative encounters but it was so refreshing from the front desk, concierge and restaurant staff to provide the same service. Excellent location! Right outside the door are 2 historic places and there is so much within walking distance such as the Boston Commons and Cheers. Very clean (hallways and room). The only con is I was in a queen (I believe “standard” room) and there wasn’t a body mirror. That’s truly the only con about the entire stay so that’s near perfect especially because I am very picky and did my first solo trip.

Old Boston meets New! What a wonderful stay we had at the Omni Parker House— where newly renovated, gorgeously designed rooms meet a clear commitment to preserving the history and charm of the 170 year old hotel. From check-in to check out and everything in between, all of our needs were attended to with positivity and a desire to please the customers. You need not travel far from the hotel for one of a kind experiences! We had a lovely lunch at Parker’s restaurant and everything was delicious- don’t forget the Boston Cream Pie and Parker House rolls that were first created there. An after dinner drink in the lobby at the Last Hurrah was another special experience. The lobby itself is grand and befitting a historic hotel. Everything about the stay felt special. When you do venture out of the hotel, you are literally steps away from superb dining, all the history the city has to offer, and exciting nightlife. You absolutely do not need a car if you’re a casual tourist, as almost everything is walkable (except Fenway- a short subway trip)! The rooms are all fully renovated, and every detail is just beautiful. Some reviewers mentioned the size of the room and bathroom being on the small side, but my family (husband and son are 6’4” said people must be looking for things to complain about! What a beautiful space they’ve created amidst the charm and history of this perfectly appointed hotel! Don’t forget to check out the bottom level of the hotel where you can see all of the histo

I liked the architecture and historic aspects. The staff was extremely polite. The hotel is centrally located. BATHROOM The bathroom was newly renovated. Even though it is small it is quite efficient. The shower is excellent. 2 things need to be altered in that bathroom: 1) door should open into room. It should not open into the tiny bathroom. That door is very obtrusive and makes it difficult to maneuver. Maybe a pocket door or flip the hinges. 2) Add shelves above the toilet for toiletries. There is absolutely no space to unpack bathroom items.

At 3 AM the light in the room came on by itself. We were told to keep the bathroom door closed and it was! Thinking maybe a ghost wanted to say hello!

A gorgeous hotel with so much history! Really comfortable accommodations and the staff were incredibly kind. You can’t beat this location as it is within walking distance of many Boston must-see sites!
