Amazing property. The facilities and property are top notch. The restaurant is fantastic. I would recommend eating breakfast at the restaurant as there are not great options moving into the Peninsula. The rooms were impeccable. Clean, modern, top notch. Wish we would have stayed longer.
Nice room. Good dining option. Only one bathroom for 3 rooms might be an issue. But it was ok for us, as only one other room in use. Nice kitchen with everything to prep a meal and breakfast.
I stayed in the shared accommodation area, so had a small room with two beds and a common bathroom and kitchen. Room was small, but fine, and the kitchen is very well equipped. I ended up using the refrigerator to store some breakfast supplies, as I had an early morning hike planned. I was a bit worried about a shared bathroom, but it worked out fine, and the facilities are very nice. The spring fed hot tub was great after a day hiking, as was the natural cold plunge. I ate at the restaurant the night I arrived, and the meal was excellent. Would definitely stay again.
The room was clean, in our shared bathroom I never had a problem, it was large and clean. The food was delicious, the lamb was the absolute best. The only thing I would recommend is a better shower curtain in the shared bathroom at ommuhus since people on the street can see into the shower. Overall the hotel is a great option! Very quaint and welcoming, but not too rustic haha
This property was perfect for our group of seven. It’s spacious with plenty of room to move around, and the kayak, cold plunge, and hot tub were major highlights. You can also see sheep and horses on the property. We do wish laundry detergent was included with the property and wished the hot tub on the property worked, but it was out of order. Nearest grocery store is ~30 min away, so if you plan on cooking make sure to get your groceries ahead of time.
This was our favorite place we stayed at while visiting Iceland. The staff and property were wonderful. Rooms were spacious and well-stocked. Very comfortable beds and amenities. There was nearby hiking, a playground, a hot tub, and a pond on the property. We loved seeing the sheep that roamed the property. The food was excellent, especially the lamb and wine! We would have adjusted our trip schedule if we had known how much we would love the property. I highly recommend staying at this resort and hope to visit again soon. Our place also had a laundry machine, which was very useful. Very clean rooms and a well-maintained property. The staff was really great, and we enjoyed talking with them.
Clean, modern accommodation with rustic vibes. Well equipped kitchen. The highlight is the hot pool, such a lovely treat at the end of a long day driving and sightseeing! We'll situated as a base for touring the Snaefellsnes Peninsula.
Beautiful property, wonderful staff, absolutely fantastic dining options and chef Jacek really cared about his customers.
The view is picturesque and the location is really stunning.
It was so clean, well organized, and comfortable. I loved soaking in the hot bathwater after a stormy day. It is very conveniently located to tour Snaefellesness.
Perfect for a family with a toddler. It was a large house that we stayed at and had so many activities. The setting was perfect, the furnished kitchen offered much needed items and allowed for cooking heated meals and just to relax and enjoy. We plan on returning to this location on our return trip. Highly recommend.
What an incredible property! We stayed in the triple room which was spacious, clean and organized. The shared bathrooms and kitchen were immaculate. The restaurant was delicious and accommodating (especially breakfast). The hot springs were glorious and while I didn’t cold plunge in the pond, others did and it was scenic and wonderful.
