Only 1 bed was made up and room was clean but very dated, and the property and grounds have seen better days and are overall quite scruffy. 「Was a little further from Selkirk than expected/noticed at booking but was worth the extra miles. Bus didn’t stop so had to book a taxi from Selkirk. The hotel was helpful and offered to come pick us up if needed! Food at dinner and breakfast was excellent.」

「My second stay at The Glen, friendly staff/owners. Different room this time round but really spacious, clean and with all you would need for a break away. Breakfast is still really good with a wide selection and freshly cooked. Ideal hotel for my needs being situated close to family and excellent for days out within the Borders and close to Tweedbank for the train to Edinburgh with free parking. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again.」
