I selected this property 20 kilometres outside Bordeaux city so we could relax at the property and enjoy their in-house restaurant as there are NO other restaurants close by. We checked in at 4 pm. At 5 pm we went to enquire about booking for dinner and were informed the restaurant was FULL. No options to eat on site. Clearly they had not left room for their guests to eat or enquired if we wished to eat on site. Instead we had an hours round trip to find dinner and could not enjoy the hotel at all.

Dear Sir, I am surprised to read your comment on your stay at Domaine de Larchey. You made your reservation in August and did not book the dinner; therefore we send an email 3 days in advance to remind you to book the dinner. You did not call us or send us any message.After 2 years of Covid and staff restrictions, we are struggling to stay alive. You can not blame us to take reservations at the restaurant and try to work hard.I am very sorry you could not taste the restaurant and also very upset you put a note of 2 although we did our job !! not fair at allregardsmarie cécile GramontDirector

Highly recommend.
Beautiful Chateau with exception property and grounds. Wonderful staff and assistance at the front desk! Sorry we didn't stay longer. Glad we decided to stay here and the proper. Very convenient to drive through region

Absolutely dream stay here! The property is stunning and exactly what we needed after 5 days in Paris. Very relaxing atmosphere, the staff are friendly and helpful. The room was huge and well appointed. The pool and gardens were very nice to relax in.

Picturesque countryside hotel
Picturesque hotel in the Gironde countryside, rooms are modern, restaurant food delicious, only downside the pool isn’t heated.

Property was fantastic, very beautiful grounds with a great pool and spa area. Room was big and spacious with a King bed and large bathroom / shower. We spent two nights here and it was probably the most comfortable and relaxing hotel we stayed at in France for its price.

Friendly staff and beautiful property. The restaurant on the property was the best meal we had in France. Only small complaint is the air conditioning could better as the room was very warm most of the stay.

Staff were smiling, welcoming and friendly. Restaurant arrangements were not made obvious when we went in for dinner. We had not been told the chef chooses the menu for you, given things you like or don’t like or have allergies to. Beautiful surroundings. Staff attentive and helpful.

Good choice
A very peaceful rural location but an easy 20 minutes drive from Bordeau airport. Our basic room was fine, but a little dark: I would go for a better room next time. We had a very good meal in the restaurant, but be aware that there is only a set menu, with no choice of dishes - whihch could be problemqatical!

Beautiful property and grounds
The property was lovely. Everything was well kept. Our room overlooked the vineyards. The was a beautiful pool but it was the wrong season. Would be great with children or a group of friends. THE restaurant was very nice but there was only one choice so if you didn't like it you were in trouble.

Quiet Get-Away
We were only there for one day but wish we would have arranged to stay at least a weekend! The accommodations were understated but lovely and very comfortable. The staff was quite gracious. The food and wine were divine, the best of our trip - our compliments to the chef! A wonderful place to get away from it all, relax and enjoy time with loved ones. We would not hesitate to return.

Magnifique et reposant

Tres bon rapport qualité prix
Domaine au calme dans le vignoble Parking gratuit et spacieux et disponible sur place Domaine bien entretenu et agréable. Herbe tondue , piscine avec transat. Le jacuzzi était fermé lorsque j y étais (peut être si j avais demandé fonctionnait il) Chambres très spacieuses avec literie de qualité. Un bémol sur les oreillers qui sont tes mous et fins Possibilité de salles de réunions pour les entreprises. Restaurant plutôt bon, à prix correct mais pas non plus économique (25 a 35€ en fonction de menu entrée plat ou entrée plat dessert)
