Beautiful property with friendly staff. They gave us recommendations for a local vineyard which was lovely. The accommodation is beautiful, with easy parking and a shop locally in 2 mins walk

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the room was clean, comfortable, and nicely modernized while still keeping its charm. The large garden was beautiful and perfect for our two small dogs, they absolutely loved it. A lovely place with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

The rooms are very spacious and well designed. We had a private sun deck with a jacuzzi. The hosts are very welcoming and responsive. Meal options are good and interesting plus available on a Monday evening.

Superbe lieu à ne pas manquer

Superbe lieu. Excellent accueil, de très belles chambres, très confortables et très propres. Photos sur le site à l’identique du réel, on ne peut pas se tromper. Je reviens toujours lors de mes déplacements dans la région lorsque cela m’est possible et si des chambres sont libres. Très très bon restaurant à proximité: les 4 baigneurs qui offre un apéritif si recommandé par l’hôtel. Je ne manquerai pas revenir, je recommande vivement.

Horrible Hotel Experience

Arrived at the property at 17:30 to find the gate open, there were no staff on site. We tried to call the owner but the number provided was for the unmanned office. We checked our booking, found the name of our room, located the room, key in the door & let ourselves in. At 18:30 a car pulled up and a man approached me and aggressively asked what I was doing in his hotel, I told him that I had a booking. He insisted that we were trespassing & that we must leave immediately. I showed him the email confirmation & I suggested that it must be a technical glitch & to follow it up with Expedia. The owner continued to accuse us of trespassing even though it appeared he had contacted Expedia & they had confirmed our booking. He insisted that we hand over our passports & credit card so he could charge us for the room, we refused as we had already paid for the room in full. The owner then called the Police. The Police arrived, we provided them with our email booking confirmation & explained the situation. It was agreed that we had a right to be at the hotel & that our passports would be scanned & credit card provided for security & incidentals. We were also accused by the owner of being involved in some sort of criminal activity regarding residency visas for France. The owner was aggressive, rude, arrogant, pretentious, pompous & hideous in every way, at no stage did he apologies or back down to make things right considering it was a technical glitch between him & Expedia.

Excellent stay. Lovely friendly people. Att at the 4 baigneurs which is run by the owners. Excellent food at a great price. Really well placed for exploring Bordeaux. Would definitely visit again. Garden and pool immaculate.

The Clos is a magic and peaceful escape, we especially loved our jacuzzi given that it wasn’t always pool weather during our stay—although they keep the pool incredibly warm even when it’s chilly outside. We can’t give our hosts enough praise!

Geen leuke plek om te verblijven. Ja je kan er goed slapen, maar er is veel stijfheid & deftigheid. Daar moet ook maar van houden. Er staat groot hek om heen waar je dmv een pincode in of uit mag. Er slingert overal kinderspeelgoed waarbij je afvraagt of het soms ook dienst doet kindercrèche? Bovendien is de madam des huize niet de allervriendelijkste.

Génial mais portes closes entre 12h et 16h

Tout était parfait sauf que nous sommes restés devant les grilles fermées de 13h30 à 16h. Je comprends que l'on ne donne pas accès aux chambres avant 16h mais j'ai du mal à accepter que l'on ne puisse même pas avoir accès au site ni même au téléphone, avant cette heure fatidique.
