4 stars The room was okay—clean and suited for a short stay. The free parking was a big plus, with plenty of spaces available. For the price, the value felt fair. There were quite a few restaurants within walking distance, which was really convenient. The only complaint is that there’s no elevator, so we had to carry our heavy suitcases up and down the stairs. Overall, a good stay with just one main inconvenience

Standard Campanile

Very large campanile yet we were put in a room round the back so couldn’t park outside. The restaurant wasn’t open for dinner which we wasn’t informed about until we arrived which is one of the reasons we booked the hotel. Breakfast was very good though

The hotel is in desperate need of renovation. We felt like we paid more than what we should have. I guess you pay a premium because of the Olympics. But the room smelt of strong mould, the carpets stained, mould on the faucets of the shower, the bed and pillows had a stink to them. We felt dirty after staying there. The only saving grace was the air conditioning, parking, water pressure, and that the staff being nice. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Escale sur notre itinéraire Portugal-Lille. Nuit convenable, pas de bruits, acceuil agreable. La chambre est propre, le lit est confortable et il y a la climatisation. Petit dej au top !
