The staff were great - spoke English as well as French. The room was as advertised. Did not buy breakfast. Great location. Close to all transportation, the river, many monuments at the gate st Jean. The hotel lent out umbrellas which was great. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Clean studio room with kitchen, stove, microwave and fridge, very convenient location, walking distance to train station, fresh produce market, restaurant, grocery store, tram and buses. Staff were very nice to find a room and let us checked in early. But the room AC was broken, then next day we were switched to another room with working AC. Overall very good experience staying at this hotel.

Room was good comfy bed decent shower , staff good , surrounding streets a bit skechy at night, never felt unsafe though , best to catch a tram into town from train station, found quite a few ticket machines not working properly, liked bordeaux worth a visit, would use hotel again , would recommend.

Lovely clean hotel, about 25 minutes walk into the centre. There was a strange smell in our room the whole time during our 3 night stay, even after leaving the windows open for long periods of time. Apart from that, ideal if you don't mind walking a little to the heart of the city!

Not bad but not good either

Centrally located, 10-15 min walk from the main shopping street and 10 min walk from the station Has a gym and a nice sauna The towels had brown and gray spots (we had. 6 in total during our 4 day stay), the floor was dirty upon arrival, the water pressure is low and it takes time for the flush to refill and for the shower to work We had no water pressure the first day and we realized that flushing affects the shower pressure. Before we realized that the receptionist sent us a guy for help who stepped in with his shoes in the wet bathroom and in the shower, leaving dirty stains, that wasn’t very professional or hygenic The staff was nice and helpful, always available They also offered us cannrlés which was sweet of them

Easy to find short walk from main railway station

Easy to find and within walking distance of the Bordeaux Saint John main railway station. Friendly reception staff and very well maintained room with everything required except for dishwashing liquid and tea towels. Very clean. A number of small shops for supplies nearby. Would happily stay there again

Nice basic stay

Good stay - nothing fancy but got the job done for a weekend in Bordeaux when you want to stay close to the train station (we had a connection on Sunday). Beds are really good and rooms very quiet so you can rest well. Walking distance to center.

The hotel has modern comfortable room. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. Only downside is that it was VERY noisy during my stay as they had mechanics drilling and hammering during the day as the air conditioning was being updated in every room. I wish the construction work had been mentioned during the booking process.

Beds were really comfortable but the room was never cleaned despite putting the sign on the door. I also asked for my toilet to be looked at because the flush was very weak but that also never happened. Quiet location but easy walk to the train station.

Great deal!

I am so happy I booked this hotel. Wow, the rooms are quite spacious, plenty of space to lay out all my luggage. The room was clean. The kitchen had a microwave, toaster, refrigerator, knife, pot, pan, induction cook top, sink, two glass bowls, dish soap. The staff at the check in were warm and welcoming. They were helpful and spoke many different languages. The hotel is so close to public transportation, or if you want to walk, many things are close by. The price for what you get is a great value!

Disappointing

The hotel was disappointing. On the positive side the room size was good and the staff were nice. However it was hard to sleep, there was noise coming from a bar/club and it was too light at night. The room safe was broken and the very small supplies of toilet roll, coffee etc were not replenished/filled up. There were no cleaning fluids except for washing up liquid but there is only cleaning once a week or when you leave except for washing up liquid.

Extremely disappointed by the cleanliness of this hotel. This resulted in an immediate checkout and a refund request. The bathroom toilet had human excrement all over it (inside and out), there was a filthy toilet bowl brush next to the toilet, and questionable substances smeared on the floor. The bathroom sink was also dirty. The one plus side-- the front desk was apologetic and responsive in checking me out and stating that a refund would be granted. Buyer beware.

Avoid Staying Here !

So, I booked this place because we were staying for a few days in Bordeaux and when we do longer stays we prefer to make our own breafast and have some room to move. So this place did fit the bill but there was issues right away. Like the elevator that brought you up from the parking garage did not work, so hauling all of our luggage was difficult. Then the key card also did not work, so we went via the auto route out of the garage with all of our luggage in tow and couldn't get the door to work ! Eventually another car came in and activated the door so we could get out. I told the reception about our issue and they said someone was coming to fix the elevator. Fadt forward 4 days and the elevator was still boken, and the key card to let you into the garage didnt work (again!). The bed was comforable but the bathroom door was broken and the sofa was in need of being replaced. I would have given the place a 3 ☆ rating but all the key card issues and parking elevator firced me to drop it to a 2☆.
