"My husband and I enjoyed our one night stay. We were attending a wedding and the hotel was perfectly located. Our room and bathroom/shower was clean, and the beds and pillows were great. We enjoyed eating dinner and breakfast was wonderful. We both especially enjoyed the eggs. Check in and check out was easy."

"I've stayed at the Robert Treat Hotel for my last five trips to NYC, and I've always had a great experience. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and the location works perfectly for us. I travel with a handicapped family member, so we drive into the city instead of taking the train. The drive is easy, and parking is only about $23 a night, which is hard to beat. The little store in the hotel has saved me more than once when I forgot something, and the restaurant food is really good. At this point, staying here has become part of our trip. We'll definitely be back."

"Liked that you could walk straight into Newark Penn Station, made travelling easy. Walking distance to food outlets, burlington and other shopping outlets. LOVED THE COMPLIMENTARY COOKIE! A microwave should have been in the room rather than in the lobby. At least disposable ware was available on request."

"The room was not clean. Rug not vacuumed, hair all over the floor in the bathroom. Bathroom shower curtain not long enough, could not shower. No trash in bathroom. No conditioner. No iron. Furniture not wiped down. Could see finger prints from previous guests. The only good thing about the stay was the beds. Clean and comfortable. Staff dressed casual. Maybe it’s a red roof thing. Will not stay here again. Very disappointed in lack of cleanliness."
