We have stayed in lots of B&Bs, but this lodge is the most beautiful we have ever seen. It is hard to describe how amazing it is and everything was just perfect. We loved staying here. The manager, Bobbie, was just so wonderful and we enjoyed talking with her, and her recommendations for places to visit were great. We felt at home here, and would very highly recommend staying here. We hope to return! 10 out of 10 all around!!

The biggest surprise for me with our visit was how impressive the entire experience was and didn't think it was possible it could actually be better than what the pictures showed. This is not the cheapest alternative but hands down it's the best, make friends with Bobby and follow her directions closely to have the most relaxing time of your life. Honestly, this place is heaven.

Best B&B!

An incredible place, will definitely be returning. Bobby (the owner/manager) is so sweet and attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Beautiful room with all the amenities and very private, individual bathroom as well. The B&B grounds are awesome and filled with nature landscapes and a river run that is sure to inspire everyone. Stay here!! Thank you Bobby!

This is a fantastic lodge with the concept of Bed and Breakfast. The location is great next to a river, rooms are very well equipped with high quality furniture and great style. The entire ambience of the lodge is unique with multiple details here and there. Service is best in class and the breakfast is one of the best I ever had in this type of concepts. We spent Mather Lutter King Jr. weekend there and were fortunate to have a lot of snow, this was the perfect location to experience that. We definitely will come back soon. This Lodge is now one of our favorite places to go to relax for a weekend and enjoy nature.

The Lodge at River Run is an absolutely beautiful inn. We were so excited to see it after finding this gem online and it exceeded our expectations! The location was great and easy to locate. Upon arriving, we were greeted with the amazing setting and sounds of the river. Entering through the front door, we got our first glimpse at a truly stunning mountain home. The attention to every detail was astounding. Our room, Mountain Laurel, was spacious, lovely, well appointed, and very comfortable. We loved that this room was on the bottom floor with a walkout to the gorgeous patio area and river. The outdoor spaces and large property along the Elk River are breathtaking and totally relaxing. There is so much room to roam and so many great places to sit and enjoy all the nature around you, that we really felt like we had the place all to ourselves! The breakfast at the lodge is not to be missed. It is a true culinary experience and absolutely delicious each day. Also, the coffee is great too! Last, but certainly not least, is the staff. Bobbie, the Inn Keeper, is first rate and an true delight to meet. She does an amazing job of running everything and above all, makes you feel at home. The ladies that assisted Bobbie were all so kind and served us like a king and queen. We did not see anyone taking care of the immaculate grounds, but they too do a fantastic job!! We will most definitely return to this slice of paradise.

This property was a cozy, mountain haven. There were tons of amenities and the owner was really helpful and made a wonderful breakfast. Highly recommend Renting multiple rooms with a group as there are amazing common areas that would be so fun to enjoy with friends or family.

Best Bed and Breakfast Ever!

We have stayed at this bed and breakfast a few times and it never disappoints. The innkeeper, Bobbie, is so personable and makes you feel right at home. The rooms are extremely clean and very comfortable. The breakfast is amazing. I cannot say enough good things and I would highly recommend.
