Location is convenient for official government meetings but far from the town center Staff is friendly and effective Rooms are clean and functional Pool is not very big but nice and good sauna. Towels need to be brought from the room as there are none in the pool area. All in all a satisfactory stay.

Great and practical hotel for in Bonn

Great location and accessibility. Somewhat outdated regarding design but it still works and I liked it! Great and friendly staff and good amenities. Parking is a breeze. Sauna wasn't too great, fitness area nice. The toilet did have a urine smell which was a bit of a downer. All in all good place!

The hotel is very large and taking that into consideration it is immaculate. Plenty of seating areas, 3 restaurants for eating and a bar. We visit Maritim hotels for their signature breakfast and this experience was the best yet. Food laid out neatly and crockery cleared efficiently. Staff lovely and welcoming in all departments. Didn't visit the pool or gym. Transport stations nearby for getting into the city.

Very nice hotel, convenient for Bonn and Cologne. Staff extremely helpful. Would recommend everything except the breakfast which was average at best and not worth the money.

Very nice hotel

We booked as part of a tour following the football, its a large hotel and very tastefully decorated, we booked a suite which was very well equipped and spacious. The staff were fantastic and really could not fault anything. The tram station is 100m away from the rear of the hotel so also convenient to get into the main town. My only part negative comment was parking at 24 euro a night seemed a little high compared to the previous hotels, but that is it!

Running paths close by were very nice and it was easy to get around the city with the nearby public transit. The dining was a little one note, because each of the on site restaurants seemed to offer the same options. There is no point in having three restaurants if they share the same kitchen.

A good place

Overall the stay was nice but there were a few drawbacks so unsure I how to avoid that if we return. The good things: The room we had booked (family suite) was spacious and well equipped with some free water, a fruit basket and coffee machine. The bathroom had a modern shower and a separate bathtub. The pool was in good condition albeit small, and the separate pool elevator made it convenient to access. The bar was relaxed with a good drinks menu including cocktails. The breakfast area was clean and comfortable. The pancakes were a highlight for our son. The staff at Reception and in the hospitality areas was courteous and pleasant. The not so good things that made us unsure about a potential return: The room we stayed in smelled of stale smoke, which made it uncomfortable to stay in. The hotel is meant to be smoke-free so this was really surprising. The hotel staff told us there were no other available rooms for us. Housekeeping came up and sprayed some air freshener which made it a bit better but still not a real solution. Given it was already 8pm we decided to stay put as we’d been driving for 8hrs already at this point. I think this is something housekeeping should have noticed before they passed the room on. For €245 a night I feel this was unacceptable. The Aircon is dated and the room stayed fairly warm despite it running on its highest setting. Had we stayed in a better smoke free room I’d have awarded it a 5/5 rating.

The hotel amenities were excellent. While the neighborhood isn't as lively as the city center, it offers great access to public transportation, and you can reach the city center in under 20 minutes. There's also a beautiful park within walking distance of the hotel.
