"Nous avons passé un super séjour dans ce bnb. Nos hôtes ont été très accueillants, sympathiques, réactifs, et nous ont donné plein de conseils sur les lieux à visiter et les endroits où manger. "Owner was arrogant . We arrived at 2:45pm and check in was at 4pm . Instead of saying sorry I would love to accommodate you , he smirked and said well your early and check in is at 4pm. Our booking agency’s site indicated a heated pool , when we got there there was no pool. We asked if we could check out earlier because of that error and it was a NO. Called our booking company and said it’s up to the owner to refund and it was a NO. As well this is a B&B at 100€ per night. No breakfast included...

"We had an amazing stay at Mangia’s. The staff was very helpful, rooms are clean and AC was cool. The free breakfast was plentiful with so many options and we dined at the pizza restaurant for dinner twice during our stay, so good!"

"Hotel Excelsior is all about the location. It’s right in the centre of La Maddalena, with an amazing waterfront position where you can sit and watch the ferries come and go. I booked a sea view room, which was definitely worth it and easily the highlight of the stay. The rooms are on the small side but were clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning was excellent, which made a big difference during the warmer weather. Breakfast was decent without being anything special, but again, the incredible view makes it a much more enjoyable experience. One thing to be aware of is that the hotel does not have its own parking, despite what you might expect. All parking is on the street, so don’t arrive assuming there’s private parking available. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you want to be in the heart of town with fantastic views, great air conditioning, and easy access to everything La Maddalena has to offer."

"The hotel is very well situated in a quiet area of Palau and the sea view balcony rooms have an incredible view out over the marina and beyond. The room was nice, a shame that the door did not line up to see the view out. The air conditioning and bathroom were great, but there are no tea/coffee making facilities and the bed was not overly comfortable. Over a 4 night stay, there were 2 significant power cuts in the area, one of which went on for a few hours and made the room uncomfortable. The WiFi was absolutely awful throughout the entire stay."

"Beautifully lush, landscaped gardens frame this luxurious designer hotel. Rooms are each set in a generous space and are thoughtfully designed and well appointed. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast in a smart, airy dining room looking out over the gardens. Nice pool and bar with Happy Hour. I would strongly recommend this hotel. "
