We had an incredible stay at this hotel. The service was impeccable from the moment we arrived; the staff truly goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The facilities are top-notch. The spa is a sanctuary of relaxation, and the pool area is beautifully maintained, perfect for unwinding. On arrival, there was no hot water and we were informed that the pool would not be available the following day. We then were informed that on a different day the pool wouldn't be available due to a private event. We only booked this hotel because we wanted to make use of the rooftop pool so this was disappointing. The breakfast was average (slightly below). We used the pool once and told the reception desk we would like to use the steamroom after and they said they would turn it on. They didn't turn it on and so we had to contact them again and wait for it to warm up. We also decided to visit La Chorrera and received incorrect information from reception (they informed us that we had to book to go which was not true). They attempted to connect us to an agency that wanted to charge 1.7m $ but we managed to ignore this and get a taxi which cost only 130 thousand $. This hotel feels more business focused than on tourism and prioritises private events/saving money ahead of customer satisfaction. If you are looking for a 1 night stay this would be fine but I would recommend going elsewhere if you want a relaxing holiday where you get to enjoy the hotel

Read Before Booking When we arrived, we were informed that we would have to pay for a “hotel insurance” upon check-out. We were also given a brochure outlining the cost of using hotel facilities, which required an additional fee. None of this was presented as optional — it was communicated as if these charges were mandatory. We did not agree to any of it and did not use those services. Nevertheless, they attempted to charge us simply because we had received the brochure and had supposedly “accessed” the information. This felt completely unfair and unreasonable. When I asked the front desk agent to call the manager so we could discuss the charge, she warned me to “be careful with my time” and implied that I might miss my flight if we continued the conversation. It felt like an attempt to pressure us into paying by suggesting they would delay the process and cause us to miss our flight. I calmly explained that we had scheduled our taxi well in advance precisely to avoid any time issues, so we were not concerned about being late. She eventually removed the charge and resolved the issue.

We chose to stay at BogHotel in Bogotá to celebrate our best friend’s wedding, but unfortunately our experience was far from pleasant. The room layout is extremely uncomfortable, especially the bathroom. The toilet is placed right at the entrance, while the shower and sink are on the opposite side, completely disconnected from each other. But the biggest issue was the strong, unpleasant odor coming from a visible drain right next to the toilet. It smelled like dirty wastewater and residue, and because the toilet area has no ventilation or window access, the odor stayed trapped inside the small bedroom. We reported the issue immediately. The front desk said they would send maintenance, but instead they sent a bellman who simply said he couldn’t smell anything. We explained the smell would come and go, but the problem was real and persistent. Nothing was fixed, and we spent two days dealing with the horrible odor. This was a very unfortunate and uncomfortable situation during what was supposed to be a special weekend. Sadly, we will not be staying at BogHotel again
