「This was our second year here, due to the friendliness of the staff, the comfort of the room, the quality of the food and the location. You can do as much or as little as you like using this as a base. We just love the ambience of the whole area. We did trips by car, train, boat, bus as well as feet. Would visit again. 「I booked two nights for myself and my 12 yr old daughter. I was looking for somewhere with a bit of character, that was away from all the noise and bustle, had a good breakfast to set us up for the day and food available in the evening. I was not disappointed. The Weary Friar was such a great little find, a proper country pub with great food (nothing too fancy), friendly staff and peace and quiet to wake up to. Will definitely head there again!」

「Although the inn was doing a brisk trade we received a warm and friendly welcome. The room was fine for an overnight stay though the bed was a little soft for my liking. I would definitely recommend.」

「This B&B hotel was beyond our expectation, really nice and warm feeling staying there. Only 10 min driving to Plymouth downtown, quite and comfortable. Nice and traditional building with good experience. Good breakfast and condition that we really enjoy staying there for 2 nights. If you want to experience traditional English style pub and food as well as feeling, Don't miss it.」

「Tucked away in a quiet little corner of the bay I wasnt sure what to expect. The inn is lovely, clean and welcoming. The staff were very friendly, and couldnt have been more helpful. The food and drink on offer were delicious. The room was great, well appointed and perfectly clean and tidy. I will definitely return!」
