Owner was very welcoming and friendly, taxi service to town and back was very inexpensive ($1.00) and prompt. Swimming pool was clean and warm. Room was clean and well maintained.

This is a great place to stay if you need privacy and tranquility. There’s a pool in the back to use and a small food market close by. It’s nothing fancy but very well kept with a great, comfortable bed, hot water and privacy.

This is not a hotel and not in downtown. It is 2km from arrival marina. Taxis are hard to get, but try a water taxi to near the Bocas del Toro sign. The unit is spacious and clean.

The condo was relatively clean and spacious and had everything we needed for a family of 3. We were able to prepare our own meals there and had a comfortable stay. The property could use some maintenance and the condo could use a good deep cleaning. We used the pool which was nice but it could also use some maintenance. The location is outside of the main town which makes it nice and quiet (except for the birds that start waking up at around 5 am) but that means you have to get a taxi everywhere which is not always easy to get and we feel like we wasted a lot of time trying to get back and forth to the property. Rosie was very friendly and helpful with suggesting tour guides and came right away to help us when we had an issue with the oven. If we stayed there again, would probably look into renting an ATV or something similar so we would not have to rely on taxi's.

Place Needs Updating

The property owner is very nice and she’s the reason why I didn’t rate this a lower star. The property has potential, it needs updates. First, the good things. All the floors were nicely tiled and clean, as was the porch, which has great furniture overlooking a big palm tree. The refrigerator looked new. A well-stocked store is close. The rest of the experince wasn’t so great. The hotel needs paint & updating, some of the walls of my room had significant water stains. One living room couch was torn, and the other had no legs so it sits directly on the floor. The stove was old, and several kitchen cabinet doors were hanging at a tilt. The bed was hard. The bathroom sink top is chipped. These issues are easily fixed with a small investment. I took a taxi from the water taxi area & it was hard for my driver to find the place. The owner admitted that whenever she calls a taxi, they never come. The best way to describe where you need to go is to show a pic of the ocean-front park. The white painted crosswalk across the road will take you to the road the property is on. To get to the hotel off the main road, you will be going on a short mud road. I was here in what is considered the dry season, but a strong rain shower had come through the night before and the taxi was sliding in the mid. The road situation isn’t something the owner can help, multiple families use it. This might be a consideration if you will be in Bocas during the rainy season.

Bug Screens are torn. Couch really uncomfortable, it's a broken hideabed. Very limited TV. Kitchen dirty and needs cupboard door repairs. No smoke detectors. Swimming pool is 2 properties away and really dirty, I certainly would not swim in it, lots of bugs that bite need lots of repellant

There was construction in front of the condo. Google maps has it's location wrong. Taxi just dropped us on the side of the road. Got directions from a very helpful local.

Nous avons apprécié la proximité du centre ville, soit accessible par taxi 1$ par personne ou en longeant la côte à pieds (au milieu des déchets qui jonchent les abords de la plage). Le lit était confortable, la douche chaude et la cuisine correctement équipée. Une note particulière à Rosy, l'hôte qui a été sympathique.

Accès à l'établissement compliqué car derrière une autre résidence sans aucun panneau ni aucune indication reçue. Le ménage est fait tous les 2 jours. La climatisation de la chambre twin ne fonctionnait plus malgré une première tentative de réparation. Elle fut remise en état pour la dernière nuit. Rozy vous accueille chaleureusement. La plage de l'autre côté est dégueulasse (dechets+algues noires en putréfaction) impossible de se baigner à cet endroit ! Donc l'emplacement de la résidence n'est pas top car il faut se rendre à la plage suivante. Pour se rendre dans le centre de Bocas il faut utiliser les taxis (1$)ou schuttles (0.70$) ! Il manque des ustensiles de cuisine neufs et propres. Globalement l'appartement est correct mais l'emplacement pas au mieux.
