Night in a Chateau Exceeds Expectations

A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to stay in a 1000 year old castle with a Roman villa foundation and a charming hostess. Irina made our stay memorable with an outstanding dinner, a delicious breakfast, and an informative tour of this historic hidden gem! A must stay!

Nos quedamos dos noches 1) no repusieron toallas, ni limpiaron la habitación durante toda la estadía. 2) No repusieron el poco papel higiénico que habían dejado 3) no había en la habitación teléfono ni minibar,heladera ni aire acondicionado 4) previo al check out, no dispusimos de agua caliente, por lo que no pudimos ducharnos 5) no había papel tissue, ni jabón de mano 6) La habitación no se podía cerrar con seguridad, ya que no tenía ni cerradura ni pestillo, por lo que la puerta no ofrecía ninguna protección. 7) No se dispuso de señal Wi Fi 8) La grifería era muy mala y sin ningún tipo de mantenimiento 9) la cama supuestamente queen era muy pequeña y con un colchón muy incómodo 10) El parque muy descuidado con muchos años sin siquiera cortar el pasto 11) llegamos muy tarde por la noche. La propiedad no tiene ningún tipo de identificacion6 en la vía pública, por lo que es muy difícil encontrarla ya que tampoco tiene ningún tipo de iluminación 12) El interfono ( intercomunicador) que estaba al lado de la reja de entrada está destruido, por lo que ingresamos sin saber a dónde íbamos 13) No había nadie para recepciónarnos, por lo que tuvimos que accionar la bocina del sotomovil dos veces 14) Resumiemdo: Un desastre todo !!

It's a really beautiful place. I had a great time with my friend. Irina was a really friendly host. She took us on a tour of the castle and told us about its history. It was a really special experience. I highly recommend it.

A wonderful gem near Bourges

What a perfect stay! Lovely room, warm and welcoming hostess and delicious breakfast. My husband is still racing about the scrambled eggs he enjoyed. The owners take great pride in the château and are very knowledgeable about the history thereof. We were offered breakfast in our room or the common area. We did not eat dinner there( long day of driving and too tired to enjoy a lovely meal). Comfortable and well appointed room with a lovely bathroom and robes. I would highly recommend Château Blet if passing through the area. We will definitely make a booking here the next time we do this long drive!

Fantastisch

Prima verblijfplaats in een authentiek prachtig kasteel met het nodige moderne comfort. Uitzonderlijk hoeveel er van het oorspronkelijk gebouw en interieur bewaard gebleven is. Alles netjes en proper. Prima ontbijt persoonlijk klaargemaakt door de eigenares Irina. Zeer gastvrij en behulpzaam.

Gorgeous property where we were treated like special guests - and old friends at the same time. Say YES to dinner if you are lucky enough to be offered. Our room was gorgeous, and Irina brought tea and coffee to our room when we arrived. This was a beautiful, calm, and peaceful stay that we'll always remember fondly.

This was a rare opportunity for us to stay in a Chateau! There were only 3 rooms and we had all three, so were the only guests. Beautifully appointed with period furniture, the chatelaine Irina was a gracious hostess. Breakfast was amazing and delicious, and included a chocolate flan that she had made herself. We didn't eat dinner here, and really wished that we had...Next time!
