"If you're looking for modern conveniences like air conditioning, wifi, great service, and nice rooms, this is Blantyre's best hotel by far. The staff was incredible - it made me realize that Malawi can have a real five star tourism industry if it wants to. Mwai at the front desk is exceptional, as is the manager of the breakfast buffet (short young Malawian woman) and all of the concierge, cleaning, restaurant, and garage staff. "Large room, new furniture. Bathroom fully functional, but outdated. Balcony with view over lush garden and pool. Historic building. Nice and helpful staff.
