Perfectly positioned as part of station complex (alongside the Mercury) and an easy if fairly lengthy walk down to the seaside (which itself is somewhat spoiled by being lined with block after block of ugly apartments - Knokke is more attractive in this respect), the hotel provides a good value and comfortable stay. As with most budget chains, the room was functional rather than attractive with not even a local photo to provide a splash of colour or interest. It was however clean and tidy and well-maintained with a good shower. The breakfast selection was good too, providing an ample start to the day

Ideale uitvalsbasis indien je maar 1 of 2 nachten wil verblijven in Blankenberge. Kamers en badkamer zijn niet groot maar groot genoeg om te doen waarvoor ze dienen. Personeel was heel vriendelijk en hulpzaam. Ontbijt is basis, dus geen bubbels of zalm enz maar alles is aanwezig wat je van een normaal ontbijt mag verwachten. Zwemmen is ook mogelijk in het dakzwembad van het mercury hotel. Wij komen zeker nog terug voor een short tripje aan de kust

Hôtel près de la plage

Une nuit pour notre visite du marché de Noël de Bruges qui se trouve à 15 kms de là. Hôtel en centre ville et à 5 mn de la plage. Bel hôtel propre et personnel accueillant. Petite chambre mais idéale pour une nuit.

Check in was a bit confusing. I'd checked in online in advance but didn't receive details of how to get into the hotel. Had to enquire at adjacent Mercure hotel and they were able to give access to the Ibis hotel. Not a major problem but could be clearer.

Wir waren mit der Unterkunft zufrieden und würden sie beim nächsten Mal wieder buchen. Negativ war, dass man uns aus dem Zimmer die MasterCard gestohlen hat und wir damit große Unannehmlichkeiten in der Folge hatten.

Leuk uitje in het Ibis hotel.

Ik heb een goed gevoel overgehouden aan mijn verblijf van begin tot eind.geweldig gelegen net naast het station dus voor treinreizigers de max ook direct gelegen aan de tramlijn..het enige mindere punt wat ik kan aantonen is dat er staat er is een bar maar het enige wat er aanwezig was dat is een automaat met snoep en frisdrank dat vind ik het enige wat een beetje minder was maar voor de rest tophotel.
