"The host Nino is the best! He was so helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay welcome and also took us to interesting places. He helped us book all our excursions, to Mount Ijen. He took us around town and we got to see places off the tourist path! He also cooks food with his family nearby, and was willing to feed us at any time! "We really enjoyed our one night stay here! The staff were kind and helpful, even giving me tips for getting to the hotel from the ferry over Whatsapp ahead of time. The room was comfortable and pretty with great air conditioning. There were two adorable tiny cats who hung out on the premises who we loved making friends with :) We didn't use the shared kitchenette for anything except the water cooler and fridge, but it was nice to have. Great place!"

"I arrived after midnight due to train delays and getting taxi from station. Although I hadn't notified them and their check-in was closed from 10pm there was no complaint or difficulty with check in. This was great service. Key was given promptly and I was shown to my room which was comfortable and clean and excellent value"
