They use a self check-in and check-out process, which I didn't mind at all. The staff was very friendly when I did see them once. Very quiet neighborhood which I liked. The house is old with little rooms...you get what you pay for so it was worth the price! I would book there again if I traveled back to that area.

Check in was self-service and that was fine. The window air conditioner worked well, and the room as clean. There were a few issues, but by evening, they had fixed them (refrigerator had leaked water, dirt on the wall by the bed) I felt safe. And the other people staying there were friendly and quiet too. The old house reminded me of my Grandma's farm house, so it was cozy to me.

It is pretty much as described, an old rustic hotel with few modern updates. Operation with little or no onsite staff worked well but some might be uncomfortable with it. There were some plumbing issues that should be addressed. television was old CRT type, but it worked reasonably well.

It was what we expected. It is a very old place and the room was little but for the price, we knew it would not be that great. It was clean and that is what we wanted. The owner was very nice at check-in. The lobby is very pretty.

The 1st room I was in had no cold water only scalding hot water, the TV wouldn't connect with the internet, and the bed felt like I was sleeping on the floor. The next day I was moved to a room with both hot and cold water in the sink of the bathroom, but NO water in the shower and again the bed was awful. This time I could feel every spring in the mattress it was so old. Both rooms were run down and falling apart. I had to buy an air mattress to sleep on and take showers at my sons house. VERY disappointed!!

Hotel has a lot of character. Like Nebraska.. it's not for everyone. If you need to be waited on, it's not for you. Some say its haunted, but I am not scared ( I ain't afraid of no ghost). Hahaha. I liked it. very quiet.

No staff at reception for check-in or check-out, there was an envelope with my name on it when I arrived with a note and my room key. I did not receive the room I had booked, but I wasn’t fussed as it was only for the night. Fridge was off when I arrived so I had to turn it on and wait for it to cool down, as I am traveling I need to be able to cook my food asap as it has been in a cooler all day. Bathroom was shared and a mess. At one point I went to have a shower and there was a strange liquid all over the floor that I had to clean up myself. Somehow I felt dirtier after getting out of the shower. Parking was available, but limited. I got there late afternoon and found a spot on the street out the front. I left enough room for the car behind me to get out, but then someone practically blocked me in by parking an inch away from the front of my car. I don’t know how they did it without having someone get out of the car and have the driver move closer and closer. Who does that! Anyway, I was glad to be leaving in the morning to say the least.

This hotel is just what it seems. It is old. It is inexpensive. There are no frills. However, the room was clean. The service was friendly. It was located close to where we needed to be. It definitely worked for what we wanted. The only complaint that I have is that my hotels.com room choice said we would have a private bath. That was not the case. The restrooms are shared among residents on the floor. However, the bathroom was close to my room and it was clean.

Hotel California vibe

Just do not expect a normal hotel stay. If you want to try something quirky - go for it. Shared bath/shower. The room was tiny, but the bed was comfy and the a/c window unit worked well. I did not see any hotel employee the whole time! There was a hand-written note at the front desk and a key to get into my room. No one at check out either. I just left the key on the front desk.

First impression was disappointing but to put on a happy face and give it a try….. we found an envelope on the front desk and went to our less than expected room kind of unique, with great potential…. But sadly disappointed in the conditions so the shower was “out of order “ and was told via the note in our envelope had a shared shower down the hall. Not what we expected at all. But the bed was clean and comfortable.

Basic accommodations in historical hotel building.

Barebones accommodations in a historic hotel that get the job done, at a good value. Check-in was easy and there were no issues. There were some cleanliness issues with the room - debris on the floor, sheets could probably be replaced, but once again - it's commensurate with the pricing of the property.

I want a refund

There was a blood stain on the sheets, the bed was sinking in towards the middle, and our fridge was leaking. And they won’t give me a refund even though I didn’t end up staying the night. We left and went to the sleep inn near the airport.

There had to have been a great photographer to turn this run down place into a menial looking facility. It is old, dirty, no showers in the rooms, no food, totally inconvenient. Opened the window to find a storage area with trash cans and junk piked high. No blinds on the windows for privacy as the curtains didn't completely cover the windows either. Refrigerator didn't work, Would not refer any one to this location. It needs to be completely remodeled and brought up to date to today's traveler's needs.

If you want to visit Omaha, this is out of the way and a bit of a drive. The place, itself, wasn't terrible, but we had a tiny room to ourselves and a questionable lock. The place is definitely dated. The bathroom is communal and we didn't feel comfortable, so we actually didn't stay and left after a few hours. It's basically a big house with several rooms.

my daughter passed away the day my husband was suspose to check in for a 3 day stay. the manger refuses to refund my payment even though my hiusband didnt make it to their place. this just isnt right
