As soon as we passed the door of Le Mascaret, we immediately felt welcome. Nadia, Philippe and the entire team really know how to take care of their guests with their amazing service, but also blow them away with incredible food. Both our dinner and breakfast there were amazing and full of flavours. The attentive staff took the time to diligently explain what was in our plates, how it was made and where. One of the people in our group is coeliac and they were immediately served homemade gluten-free bread, among other things, which was a lovely gesture. We were even lucky enough to experience a tea ceremony at our table performed by Nadia herself, who also took the time to chat in the nicest, most unintrusive way. Our room was very comfortable and quiet, and the hotel’s location perfect. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant!

Nice but not walking distance to a town

This place is not near the sea and so required a drive to find restaurants! Nice reception, we were upgraded to a large suit. Nice breakfast was served in room

Welcome reception. Room was a little odd with a glass fronted bathroom which didn't offer a great deal of privacy. Bed was comfortable enough. The door hinges could have done with a good bit of WD40 as they kept creaking in the night (even when shut). We had some drinks downstairs which felt very overpriced. 10eur for an apple juice for our 4yr old daughter! Breakfast was so odd. We received a call informing us that breakfast was ready. When we came down to the table, it was only set up for 2 people (we are a family of 4, admittedly one is 1 yr old and didn't need a full breakfast, but an extra yoghurt might have been nice).We asked for a 3rd croissant and were denied because they are only made according to order. Surely they could have the odd spare.The prices they charge for breakfast should allow that. The breakfast spread was a bewildering and confusing assembly of things that you didn't know were sweet or savory. I have never been greeted with a smoked piece of duck for breakfast alongside my coffee, pastries and jams. And I hope that never happens to me again. Surely it would make sense to ask us whether we wanted a continental or a savory breakfast first so that half the stuff is not left on the table. We are curious and non fussy eaters generally and hate waste, but it was such a strange assortment of flavours that couldn't possibly go together, meaning half was left. The 2 croissants we did have were delicious and the fruit salady thing with the yoghurt was lovely.

L’hébergement dans la suite Arabesque était adapté à notre couple et notre grande fille qui a pu dormir dans la canapé lit dans la Sejour et nous dans notre chambre fermée avec baignoire . Par ailleurs nous avons dîner au restaurant et le chef sa femme et l’équipe proposent une cuisine très originale avec une équipe très agréable : une belle étape à tout point de vue. Même le petit déjeuner était très qualitatif : je recommande sans hésitation.

Belle chambre digne d'un 4 étoiles néanmoins pas tres pratique pour une petite famille avec 2 enfants. Pas de lit bébé disponible...coin cuisine pas pratique car rien a disposition, pas de cafetière, ni de torchon pour le linge ...literie un peu dure des sur matelas à memoire de forme seraient un plus à prévoir.
