「Room, hotel & restaurant beautifully kept and decorated. Bed was fabulous. Food was wonderful. Staff were all helpful and friendly. The grounds were spacious for dining in or out- a great place to relax. Highly recommended.」

「The pub is charming but very, very loud and our room opened out to the courtyard. The room was very hot because it faced the sun and the day was bright, so we needed to open the window and then had a lot of pub noise. The en suite bath was tiny but operational. On the plus side, the staff were super friendly and helpful and despite a busy evening, they managed to seat us so we could eat. The food as good too both for dinner and breakfast.」

「We arrived early knowing that check in was not until 4pm but were told they had informed housekeeping we had arrived and to have lunch in the bar. We came back 3.5 hours later to be told the room was still not ready when other people who arrived after us were given rooms. Very poor start to our break 」

「Das Zimmer war angenehm groß und das Frühstück sehr lecker, mit einer wirklich guten und vielfältigen Auswahl. Leider ist das Hotel insgesamt deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Man hat den Eindruck, dass seit mehreren Jahrzehnten kaum etwas renoviert oder modernisiert wurde. Besonders negativ aufgefallen sind uns die sehr schmutzigen Fenster, sowohl im Zimmer als auch im Frühstücksraum. Im Frühstücksraum hingen außerdem deutlich sichtbare Spinnweben an der Decke. 「The room was clean and spacious, and the breakfast was amazing. The facility was older but very clean and well-maintained. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was really good. We would love to stay here again!」
