「My overall assessment on the stay would rate it no more than a three star. There are some minor maintenance issues that need to be looked into. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food was very good and the full English was excellent. The idea of filling out what you wanted for breakfast the previous day was not really how I would like it as this might change, I would prefer to decide on the day. Conclusion: The accommodation was a little tired and in need of a spruce up.」

「Very nice stay, room clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, full English, used the restaurant for evening meal which was very enjoyable. Wasn’t keen on the very small smart TV in the room but owners were lovely and so was Hannah. A wonderful waitress 」

「Heavy traffic noise from main A road immediately outside, although constant only at rush-hour, and not so bad at night. Double glazing helped but the hot summer weather meant that even with the supplied fan the window had to remain open. Otherwise good value for money, a comfortable stay and a good base for the many local attractions.」
