Staff were great. As was the cooked breakfast. Interior, the hotel had been refurbished, so was in very good order. Bar was basic with very little range to offer. Outside areas were in need of a refresh. Good value stay.

Lovely and Calm and Quiet place!

Very lovely place and beautiful scenes around. Polite and Good helpful Staff too. Felt like being on a peak of the mountian and to add the expirence, RAF fighter flights fly low over the hotel at times. Interesting and never experienced this before. Loved it.

A clean hotel in a peaceful location.

A really nice small hotel in a very quiet area overlooking the countryside. Everything looked recently refurbished. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order. The hotel caters for families and groups of children with special needs so everything is accessible. No food available in the evenings though so the first night we had to get back on the bike and go out again.

Large and comfortable room

Room especially the toilet was huge and comfortable. They also gave very large towels which was great. Only gitch as the housekeepinb fell short on the last day - the bins werent emptied and the floor towel was not replaced.

Peaceful cozy hotel

Everyone was super friendly and accommodating to us. The room and beds were very cozy and comfortable. With the gentle rain and ability to open the windows, it was one of the best sleeping nights of the trip. The included breakfast in the morning was plentiful, delicious and perfectly cooked. The view outside the hotel was lovely too.

Excellent service.

The staff were friendly and very help full. Breakfast was served late. We needed to reach a place early, reached a bit late. This does not affect the overall service which was excellent. The room needs at least more sockets by bed side for charging phones. We had only one for the 3 of us. Overall, it is an excellent place to stay and i would recommend some one.

Hotel is very well presented and staff were more than helpful. Situated just on the outskirts of Ffestiniog village, not more than 10 minute walk to nearest pub. Views from this hotel are truly breathtaking.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Bathroom and shower were very good and lovely bedding. There didn't seem to be a lot of staff but it is a very quiet time of year. We ate in the dining room and the food was good. Again, service a little slow but good. From a personal point of view, it is in the middle of nowhere but this is not a criticism as others may prefer this. We only stayed one night on our way elsewhere so on the whole it was a pleasant stay.

Great hotel with spacious rooms in Snowdonia National Park immersed in amazing landscape. Fantastic for a short break where one wants to temporarily get away from the helter skelter of modern day life, The staff are friendly and professional and handle just about everything!

Walking holiday stopover

Enjoyable stay here for a walking holiday in Wales. Good sized room with coffee, tea etc. Solid restaurant as part of the hotel which was really useful. Good service when I arrived and the shower/basics were great after a long day walking. Would certainly recommend as somewhere to stop over.
