The turtle staff

The staff slow as like a turtle, wait there already 30 minutes, but still need to wait for another 10 minutes. Every time I go to the reception, always have a long queue and just a few staff there and one of the staff is really SLOWWW , really can't understand why a hotel can have that slowly hospitality and even pride and prejudice

We were shocked at the hotel, was not the same place you show on your website. Not a single of the photos on the website were not like the actual hotel. I suggest you go and have a look at the HOTEL it’s well passed past it’s best.

Plenty of parking but hotel in need of a refurb. Window seals were gone so room was drafty and freezing cold. Hotel did provide a plug in radiator to take the edge off, luckily we had extra beds so doubled up the duvet. Corridors all smelt of weed. Staff were excellent very friendly. Police were onsite due to man drunk asleep behind the wheel of his car; it was 1pm. It's rough. Exhibition area was excellent.

Unsafe because coming downstairs the handles was loose, View was not expected just staring at a brick wall, cleanliness found dry blood on spare pillows, mould in bath tub and was rather disappointing for me and my partner We would not be coming back to this hotel

Staff brill pool good sauna good stream room good hot tub good. Sports bar not open now for about 2years Every time we come they say it maybe open at weekend it never is.

I liked my room it was on the ground floor and quiet in the n main . Happy with the room the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and very nice .

Easy parking, huge hotel, lots to recommend it including swimming pool, bar, privacy. Decor is tired, but fine. Downside in the room I was in, paper thin walls.

Booked thro Expedia think paid over odds for room which was so small you couldn’t swing a cat the decor was very poor, however breakfast was good and staff very polite On arrival long queue for reception…had already booked in on line paperwork said ‘just pick up keys’ to do this still had to queue

The staff were friendly. The whole place needs a bit more tlc being given in decorating etc. You can see they are trying to bring it up to date. What I found was I didn't like the restaurant after I tried it the first nights stay. It reminded me of a school hall. The coffee shop was lovely but could only open when restaurant shut in the mornings. The bar seemed to open when it wanted to so no one could plan to meet friends or work colleagues before 3pm. Had bar meal 2 days running which was nice. Tried to order a third time but said he wasn't cooking and gave me directions to the chippy behind the hotel. The cabaret singers were okay for free entertainment. Was a bit annoying being asked to play Bingo about 3 times a night. If you don't like Bingo, you don't like Bingo. On the whole I had a fantastic time but there are some big flaws that can't always be ignored.

Waited almost an hour to get the room key despite being checked in online. Then got a dirty room ( beddings filthy, bathroom dirty) which was changed to a different room where outside of the window there was a noisy AC engine ( or something). Night we couldn’t sleep from the noise and the rock hard pillow and mattress didn’t help either. The hotel was charging for the swimming pool facilities which was not mentioned on the Expedia website. It was overall an unpleasant experience. We checked out a day earlier because we couldn’t afford another sleepless night.
