Kelly the host is really nice. Very up to date decor, however room wasnt the cleanest. Couldnt use two of the pillows as they smelt mouldy and were dirty cases
Our room (101) came with two keys, one for room and one for front door which was explained, however our door couldnt lock. I phoned Kelly and she explained she would come and check it out within 10 mins. Upon arriving back at hotel having been out all day, our room was still unlocked. Fortunately we didnt leave anything of value in the room.
Overall the building was really nicely done up, however it just needs a good bloody scrub.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
We didn't stay at the hotel for a number of reasons. Firstly, the surrounding area was deprived with half the buildings either boarded up or in disrepair. Secondly, having a 'seaview' and being a 'boutique' hotel is debatable, but definitely not from the outward appearance of the property. It was scruffy and needed maintenance to the paintwork and front door. Thirdly, to be made to stand outside ringing a bell for 30 minutes is unacceptable and shows poor customer service.
The decision was made to leave and lose £100.
We'll stick to the standard we are accustomed to in the future, which meant sadly rearranging plans with family who were staying elsewhere in Blackpool.
Checked in with a woman i know was the manager bit kept telling me she wasn't the manager which i found dodgy straight away ,in the pictures rhey dknt show you the main door is all rotten ans wood is actually falllen off ,the walls are all dirty the smell of cooking was overpowering ,no wifi code given nothing, when walkimg into room it looks lovely at first then you start noticing ahaim dirty walls ,window sills ,the shower whaat a joke it actaully flooded the full toilet my husband caught the water just before it went to carpert ,but ince in bed that night all i could smell was dampness which was overpowering so its not the first time its happened as told with the not owner ,the blinds dont fit the full window now wen u are wanting a sleep past 5.30 this is essential ,then taking our bags out to car which was in the paid carpark out runs again the non owner asking if we had left key but not ina nice tone let me just say in a way screaming across a carpark ,no we havent left key as we have more luggage to collect .nope a defo no and these places need checked for health and safety
