"My husband and I were very impressed with the welcoming warmth of the staff, as well as the beauty of the Inn. We were very pleased that there was a restaurant on site where we had both dinner and breakfast and each meal was absolutely phenomenal!! As I am a Chef by training I commend the kitchen staff greatly 👏👏👏 The main street of Black mountain with all the shops of interest was a mere 3 minute walk from the front door of the inn. So not only was it beautiful and comfortable but it was very conveniently located."

"Staff was friendly. The room was spotless! No signs of bugs or anything, trust me i check the mattress and everything every time we stay at a Hotel lol. Water pressure and hot water were great! Definitely will stay there again! "

"Acorn Motel is an older motel ... yet they have kept it updated. Heat/AC unit is a wall mount ... but kept the room warm for me (was 35 degrees when I was there). Room has a lot of room. All necessities were in room (ie: hair dryer, shampoo, soap). They are pet friendly - lots of room to walk dogs (I had 3 with me). Outside was very well lit."
