I have stayed at this hotel three times. During my first stay, I was given a newer room, which was very nice. On my second and third stays, I got older rooms, but they were still clean and comfortable. I slept well each night. The staff were nice and friendly throughout my visits. Parking was available for a fee, but it was reasonably priced (£6.20 per night) and there were plenty of spaces. Overall, I had a good stay there.

I booked for my fussy 21-year-old son, and the above are his comments. "The only issue is that they had no swimming pool", he said. Yea right! Upon arrival at their reception, I wasn’t greeted with warmth and a smile. The man was rather miserable and not very welcoming. The bathroom was clean enough; although the bedroom area was thoroughly depressing, old, tired and in need of updating. Ripped headboard, it was like stepping back to 1986!

Nice white bedding and towels, close to Stansted airport. Rooms are basic and need an upgrade. Carpet has stain marks. Bathroom is old but useable. Breakfast is only a basic buffet not much option for vegetarians. Decent enough hotel to have a shower and sleep after or before long flights.

Just what you need before your flight/return

Perfect for a stay before your flight, quick check in and the room had everything needed. Although you had to pay parking which was frustrating, especially when you’re up at 3 and don’t stay the whole night to catch a flight.

We liked where the hotel was located, it was private and quiet. We liked how clean and nice the panorama Rooms were. We think the WiFi needs to be better as it kept disconnecting and the Service was not very good. We liked that the TV was Bluetooth and had Netflix etc..

I booked for an early flight, so I could take the morning shuttle and my companion could park and leave later. Situated in a pleasant green space with trees; the hotel was well decorated, carpeted corridors and prints. We were given a room for 4, spacious, nicely decorated, with comfortable clean beds and tea facilities. Quiet … considering it’s so near Stansted airport. Breakfast was cheap … we didn’t pay for parking but shuttle to airport was 15€.
