"The room was recently upgraded with new carpet and paint. The furniture, however, was pretty banged up - it seemed to be painted. Anything that banged against the wall left marks. Maybe it’s on the list of things to do. Any disappointment with the furniture was more than made up for by the staff. I had a couple travel needs and the staff bent over backwards to help. I would stay here again."

"The hotel’s historic building is a treasure. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately during our stay the elevator was not working, the restaurant was closed (indefinitely?), the bar was closed due to a ceiling leak from an upstairs room and the ice machine was broken.
