"Everything was great"

"Pricy pet fees for a run down motel with vinyl flooring. Grounds were littered with trash. Smelly cigarette receptacle placed outside of my non-smoking room. Weather was chilly so room was cold unless you ran the dry heat blower continuously which was very loud. The quarter inch gap between the exterior door and frame let in the cold air and felt unsafe. Lumpy mattress that sunk down on one side. Curtain barely covered the window and was ripped. No electrical outlets or recharging stations near the night stands. Bathroom fixtures are outdated and worn. Peeling paint in bathroom. Loose toilet seat. Small bath towels. Doorknobs, light switches, remote, etc. felt sticky. Strong chemical "mothball" type of smell throughout the room. Will not return. "

"The pool and hot tub were nice. I've just never had to sign a waiver to enter the pool area before. Unfortunately the towels in my room were terribly stained, maybe even dirty. But it was an easy fix and "

"I was overstimulated before i even finished checking in. Too much going on in the lobby. Between the dance parties and loud shows, the people trying to get wolf ears and take pictures at the fireplace and all the foot traffic that is forced through that area, as its the only way to get from rooms to activities. Every elevator was a fight with some guests getting very visibly irritable. Place was fairly clean considering the amount of guests and visitors. All staff was extremely friendly. Considering they work in such a highly stimulating environment. They nickle and dime you and could atleast include a free breakfast. I wont waste my money going back"

"The room was clean and comfortable, helpful at check in. A complimentary breakfast would go a long way to making it an even better experience. "

"The rooms were as advertised online. The staff were helpful when I requested additional items to the room. The pool area was not great, had very limited seating, and unfortunately the hot tub was not working and no information was shared other than a sign at the pool area. The manager accepted our feedback about the hot tub and resolved this with the people in my group."

"You could not ask for better care than what you will receive from wife and husband team, Carrie and Bob. They look after your every need. The rooms are cozy, but well thought out. For awhile on Saturday it was just me and the two of them. They made sure I had everything I needed. And I did. The Tavern is exceptional and any visiter to Blue Bear Inn should make sure to have at lease one meal here. The food is really terrific and service is top notch. Brian, the bartender really cares about the drinks he is serving up. We come up to this area to see friends and family a couple times a year and will only stay at the Blue Bear Inn! "
