I think it may have been a language barrier issue as we don’t speak Italian and he doesn’t speak English and he didn’t have much patience for translating. We also found the men who checked us in were not very welcoming. For such a beautiful hotel the front desk people should be much more welcoming. "Turi is an incredibly beautiful and peaceful city with lots of good restaurants, and we enjoyed our one night stay in the luxurious apartment, followed by a complimentary breakfast in a nearby cafe. This experience is much more authentic than our stays in the big hotel chains, and the owner made sure to provide free parking for us as well. "
