A great place to stay. I’d definitely recommend. Quiet and relaxing area. Public transportation is about 50ft away and that’s convenient. Walkable areas and felt very safe. No AC in the rooms but huge windows to open to let in fresh air. The price is very reasonable as well.

The room was perfect, spacious room and clean. However very warm due to no air conditioning. And it was very noisy in the hotel, you could hear everything in the hallway, downstairs and from other rooms. There was an event in the hotel and in the village which was very loud and we did not know anything about it. So that where some downsides. However, overall we had a great stay!

Great stop from med to Bilbao. Our room condition had suffered from some bad guests. Cigarette burns and black scratches to the shower tray. There is a great local cafe in the Eroski supermarket complex. Sadly access to Tuleda old town is poor. Need to drive and parking is difficult. Also restaurants are mostly closed Monday and Tuesday so avoid those days if you want to eat out.

Excellently located close to the airport, the Hospedium Hotel Blu Loiu is directly beneath the flight path at the end of the runway so do expect noise early and late. Staff are exceptionally helpful and supportive and should be commended for their excellent communication. Set in a quiet community, the cafe is clearly a central meeting place with a good outdoor space. Unfortunately smoke from below can be smelt in rooms above as, because there is no air conditioning, windows do need to be kept open. On street parking in bays and on yellow lines opposite, means parking is straightforward and free.

Nice little hotel close to the airport . Great value for money . No late check in - have to go to a sister hotel first to collect a key which is a little inconvenient if you arrive late . Didn’t feel overly secure on that basis . Close to public transport making it easy to get into Bilbao. Good breakfast and bar area with food available.

The hotel is advertised as three stars, but it’s far from that. The carpet was filthy, and the room clearly needs maintenance and a much better cleaning. We arrived around 10:50 PM and found the reception closed, so we had to go to another address about six minutes away just to pick up the keys.

Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend I recently stayed at Hospedium Hotel Blu Loue in Bilbao, and unfortunately, it fell well below expectations. Upon arrival, check-in was straightforward, but things quickly went downhill. When we got to our room, it was immediately clear it had not been cleaned—beds were unmade, towels were left on the floor, and the general cleanliness was lacking. The carpet was stained, and the room felt neglected. Basic amenities you’d expect from even a modest hotel were missing—no tea or coffee facilities, no USB charging ports, and an overall sense that the room hadn’t been updated or maintained with care. While the location may be convenient for those needing access to the nearby airport, it’s quite far from the city center. We ended up spending a significant amount on taxis, which was made worse by the fact that the front desk refused to help call one when we asked. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and not a place I would choose to stay at again.

Nous n’avons pas eu accès au parking, il était fermé, le lendemain matin, lorsque nous sommes partis pour l’aéroport de Bilbao, impossible d’ouvrir le portillon ou la grille du parking pour sortir récupérer notre voiture dans la rue nous avons été obligé moi mon épouse et mon fils d’escalader, le mur de l’enceinte de l’hôtel pour sortir et cela a été très compliqué. Heureusement nous avons pas loupé notre avion.
