We had a very pleseant stay in Mountain Village this year except a view of a huge, blue construction dumpster right outside our room window. Another gripe I have are the lift hours. Why close lifts at 4:45pm when on a very hot, summer day late afternoon and early evening hours would be the best time to enjoy lift rides and beautiful mountain views. On a plus side breakfast was delicious and I love the vibe of Chet's Bar & Grill restaurant.

Very friendly staff, beautiful views despite a lot of construction. Food options were limited, esp with allergies. Great outdoor activities & fun guides! Great location.

We loved the property! Room was spacious enough. The breakfast was good. Pool area was nice. Transportation from the bellman was an awesome perk!

The front desk help, lift operators and housekeeping were great. Breakfasts were good. We decided not to go to town on our last night and eat at Chet's, huge mistake. The ribs, mac and cheese and coleslaw were horrid. Should have returned and walked out but have never done that and will definitely do in future. I have absolutely no idea what was in the soupy coleslaw, but it did not belong. The mac and cheese tasted like Velveeta and the ribs were not smoked or grilled, God only knows how they were cooked. The bland sauce that was on them was designed to cover the awful way they were cooked. They may have fallen off the bone, but the pork had NO flavor. The breakfast waitstaff of Jorge and unfortunately, I forgot the Caribbean woman's name, they were great, personable and understood the importance of coffee. The first evening there we wanted a quiet glass of wine outside, it took 20 minutes for the server to bring them, and the restaurant was VERY quiet and there were many servers standing around. All said we were disappointed with the resort. Carolyn Fredrickson signed here because the signature line would not accept a signature

The staff at Huntley Lodge made my stay an absolute joy. Encountering a fox in the e parking lot and a moose outside breakfast was just a bonus.

Wonderful property with the friendliest of staff! Very clean and comfortable. If you are self parking rather than paying for valet, be prepared for a little bit of a jaunt. The waffle and chicken sandwich at Chet’s is delicious!!

The kids had a nice time with the swing ang trampoline, however there was a female at the exchange that was rude to my husband. I wasn't pleased about that. He wasn't sure if she was helping another customer because the customer was standing a distance away from her and was on her phone for a long time and the service rep snapped at him which was uncalled for. She could of said I'll be right with you but chose to be snappy.
