"We always wanted to stay here and now we have! The views and campus were absolutely beautiful and the food was delicious. The room was quaint but not sure worth the luxury price. Air conditioner was a little loud which I guess helped quiet the talking at the bar since our room was close to it. Ice machine was outside and there is no elevator if you are older and need that. (My husband and I were ok on the second look though.) Overall we had a really good time … just don’t know if we’d pay the high nightly rate again…and the rates were probably even discounted right now because of the Mountain Parkway not being all the way open."

"The room was HOT, air turned off & it took awhile to cool down. The room was clean. The front desk staff made checking in easy, he was helpful answering questions & providing information about the property. Parking was adequate. Breakfast was come & go, not many choices."

"The townhouse was very clean and roomy. Basic kitchen equipment and dishes were provided. The place is dated, everything is brown and rather dull but totally functional and clean. Nice having 2 balconies. Upon arrival at the townhouse, I was disappointed to see it was located 3 flights of stairs below the parking lot. That’s a lot of steps to haul luggage, cooler, golf clubs etc especially for seniors. No where did I recall being advised of so many steps, would not have booked if I did. Resort did not offer another room so we were stuck. The pool was wonderful, the lake water was chocolate brown. Had to prepay $13/day to use the pool and lake (avoided lake b/c of dirty water). Legends restaurant was casual and great. Golf at both courses was also great."
