When I arrived at 2:30, no one was at the front desk. I waited about 15 minutes in front of a sign that said “Please wait,” and when someone finally came out, I was told my room wasn’t ready. What made it even more frustrating was that the two women who walked in behind me were immediately checked into their room with no issue. I didn’t request anything special—just a standard room—so it made no sense that mine wasn’t ready while theirs was.
When I came back at 4 PM, the front desk experience was terrible. The staff spent the entire time talking on the phone and discussing another guest’s issue with missing drapes, saying they didn’t know where to move him because they had no available rooms. Not one person acknowledged me only until someone finally said, “Insert your card for parking.” I felt ignored and unwelcome by cheri staff.
It didn’t improve at the bar. The woman behind the counter was loudly cussing and complaining that “everyone is in my way.” The special drink I ordered tasted terrible like a glass of lemon grapefruit, so the attitude from the staff lobby and bar made the atmosphere uncomfortable
On top of all that, the hotel overcharges for the room 1day $378 then adds another $20 for parking—just to use a rundown, dumpy lot. By the time I got to my room (126), the mattress was the final disappointment. It felt like you were sinking into a hole.
Overall, between the poor check-in experience, rude bar staff, bad drink, extra parking fees, and uncomfortable bed
