"Dirty hotel, the matress was very old and the room was very dirty. Seems that wasn't cleaned before the arrival. It's sad because it has the best spot on the beach. If the hotel changes and take care of the costumers it will be top but sadly, not now"

"This a good basic hotel. It offers clean comfortable rooms. The reception guy is awesome and helpful. There is no pool or food service on the premises. There are some items for sale in the lobby which are snacks and toiletries and most importantly mosquito spray! The hotel is at an easy distance (disregarding the condition of the pathway) from Long Beach and Coral Beach which there are many restaurants and activities available. "Nice place to stay on Perhentians, everything you need is available at the Barat, or a small walk to the next beach. The food options were good, really liked the BBQ. Family sea front chalet was nice, airco and fan helped to cool down. View was a bit obstructed by the restaurant terrace. "

"Free upgrade when we came to the hotel all the staff were super helpful amd friendly room was beautiful and clean lovely view if you hire a scooter you are only 5 minutes away from the most beautiful beach would recomend to anyone "

"I really liked Arwana and would stay here again. It’s literally right on the beach. The water is crystal clear and baby reef sharks swim around happily. Perhentian doesn’t have any roads so the hotel can arrange water taxis. We did the Redang island trip and the snorkelling trip, both arranged by Arwana and they were both excellent. Don’t go expecting a 5 star experience, but this hotel has a rustic charm, the room was nice and clean and the pool is a good size. It’s peaceful and exudes chilled...
