"The property is extremely well-situated in the old town, and the pick-up/drop off service from the entrance to the car free zone is extremely helpful. Though there is a bit of shabbiness (my bathroom fixtures were loose and/or broken, which didn’t really affect their use), it was made up for by the very friendly staff. The pool is small but in such a beautiful location and there were lots of loungers. The only real complaint is the noise ffom the outdoor clubs that goes on past “quiet time”. Sadly, there’s probably not much the hotel can do about it, and earplugs helped a lot. Considering the price of competing properties, this was good value."

"This is a lovely family run accommodation. They work so hard and tirelessly to ensure your stay is restful and without issues. We got on very well with the owners and they helped us with many things and gave us lots of advice on things to do locally. It is refreshing to see owners who care about their guests and they are always on hand to help in any way they can. An example of this was on our last day, one of the owners followed us to the bus station because they thought we had left something behind. Most people would ignore this but they went out of their way to see if it belonged to us. It did not actually belong to us but we appreciated their kindness and honesty. We will definitely visit Ulcinj again and would be delighted to stay at the Aqua Lounge. Swimming was clean and breakfast was homemade and felt like a lot of love went into it every morning."

Driving to get there however was immensely difficult when navigating a two way road that’s barely one way and in many spots it’s a cliffside where only 1 car can get there and others need to reverse to give space. I suppose that is the beauty of going somewhere a bit harder to access. Otherwise location is good too."

After this summer, I’ve decided that I’ll come back to this hotel every summer. The amazing staff, outstanding cleanliness, and wonderful atmosphere made it an unforgettable stay. I highly recommend it!"

"Just to let everybody know, even though it says parking included if you travel with car, there is no parking included in this property. No parking you have to look and find a parking for quite some time on this city. There is only one spot that could be for free, but is really really really busy and it’s very hard to find a parking that is really convenient to exit the port that you’re gonna go to the hotel or if you want to travel to a different destinations around the city or country so just keep in mind that there is no parking."
