My stay at New Inn

The owners were really helpful. I informed them beforehand I was arriving late, but I was even later than planned and they had no problem with this. It was a friendly welcome and I just needed a bed as a base for wildlife photography at Bempton and this fitted the bill. There was a bit of wear and tear in the room, but it was clean and a nice building. And great value for money. I would stay again.

Good value inn.

One night.Went to Beverley races Monday evening. Room and service quite adequate and will go again but on other days when there is a full bar and restaurant service.

The hotel is very nice, the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable. I had an issue with noise on the first night from other guests but spoke to the team and they dealt with it in an efficient and swift manner Overall would recommend to anyone

It was just what we wanted .We have a dog and he was made welcome also. Staff very friendly and attentive. Will go again.

Inexpensive stay at a comfortable, friendly hotel

We stayed at The New Inn for one night after a birdwatching day at Bempton Cliffs. The rooms are above a pub but not noisy. Our room was clean and compact. The lady behind the bar was friendly and quickly responded to a request for extra pillows. On arrival we discovered that there were no meals available but again the staff recommended a great place about five minutes drive away- The Dacre Arms- where we had fantastic service and wonderful meals. We were also pointed in the direction of the local butcher for takeaway breakfasts- also excellent. All in all, a great, inexpensive stay at a comfortable, friendly hotel. We’d definitely stay again.

Saturday night disappointment.

The evening meal was not good. Firstly my wine came in a lipstick stained dirty glass. My meal was fine but my partner's was very greasy and left a pool of fat on his plate. Our portion of onion rings was nothing like the photo on the menu, one onion ring and a bowl of scraps..the waitress said she'd pass our complaints to the chef but we heard nothing back.

New Inn Pub, Leven

The room was clean, though rather small. However, the pillows on the bed were too high and too hard, ensuring a very uncomfortable night's sleep. Given the modest cost of pillows, this should be a small thing to fix. There was also little sound-proofing, which meant that we heard the television in the room next door

On arrival the first thing we were asked for was for payment. Never asked if we wanted breakfast or evening meal. When we left there was no one around to hand our keys in or to check that everything with our stay was OK. Room was fine and location good for a stop-off.
