While some holiday rentals can feel sparse and functional, in contrast it is obvious that a lot of thought and care has been put into making the cottage feel like a home. "Absolutely faultless, I stayed for 2 nights and wish it was for longer. The King size bedroom was lovely and comfortable. A lovely touch of a fridge which was perfect for keeping things chilled whilst there for a few days. I even jumped at a discounted spa session offered on check in. Breakfast and evening meals were fantastic. The chef was very personable and offered to order items which I think was a great touch. All staff friendly and inviting. I will most definitely stay here again if it’s at the same price."

"Beyond what we expected, there was a miscommunication between the resort and Expedia for our booking, information from Expedia can that we booked a classic cabin, although we booked a premier cabin, but was quickly sorted by staff at the desk. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool, the cocktail bar was superb, good atmosphere and we met nice people "

"The hotel is fairly basic, the rooms look a bit dated, there was a crack in my bath surround and some staining on the ceiling, but I believe the rooms are due for refurbishment shortly, so this is likely to improve. The parking is just over the road, and is free for as long as you're staying (you can come and go without registering again apparently). The hotel as a whole was clean and tidy. The food was good but a bit pricey in my opinion, but it is a touristy area, so base your expectations on that. The real stand-out was the staff, they are welcoming and clearly enjoy their jobs, and are a perfect example of Welsh hospitality. This is a good hotel as a base to explore Eryri"

"The staff there was really lovely The room we stayed in was not really kept well and the upkeep was a bit poor and it was not the cleanest. The breakfast was nice it was a breakfast buffet next door. The gym was small but decent for a workout The pool sauna and jacuzzi was amazing, steam room wasn’t working when I went though or was not set up "
